I know this may sound odd but witness in a Bible is kinda different then church is all.
Like to witness is like to share the gospel I think in these contexts they could be correct as just to witness but this is an odd translation thing that could exist is all.
I remain open minded and do not like to put things in a final box unless it has proven to final is all.
