Maine Democrats are being accused of recruiting voters who have never lived in or paid taxes in Maine.

Secretary of State Shenna Bellows has admitted noncitizens are registered to vote and is refusing to provide voter files to the Justice Department to address the issue.

She has also partnered with the Community Organizing Alliance, a migrant-run group tied to alleged Medicaid fraud, according to Steve Robinson, an investigative reporter with The Maine Wire.
