Congresswoman Says More Classified UFO Files Are Coming After Years of Government 'Stonewalling'
11 May 2026, 4:23 AM BST
Florida congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has said additional classified files relating to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) could soon be released following renewed congressional efforts to review government records connected to unexplained sightings and military investigations.
Luna, who chairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, made the remarks during a recent Fox News interview after an initial batch of documents and footage was released last week.
She said the task force had requested more than 40 additional files from the Pentagon and expected to receive them within the coming weeks.
The Republican lawmaker also accused multiple federal agencies of delaying or obstructing disclosure efforts connected to UAP investigations.
However, federal agencies including NASA and the Pentagon have repeatedly stated there is no confirmed evidence linking investigated sightings to extraterrestrial activity.
Military Footage and Pentagon Requests
During the interview, Luna said the material released so far included military footage, aircraft observations and previously classified records connected to federal investigations.
She rejected suggestions that the images were AI-generated, stating that many of the files contained official government redactions linked to military or law enforcement sources.
Luna said the task force had specifically requested additional Pentagon documents by name and expected further disclosures following discussions with defence officials.
In a statement posted on social media, Luna described the initial 'tranche' of records as 'a huge step in the right direction', adding that there would be 'much more to come'.
She also claimed lawmakers and whistleblowers had previously faced resistance when attempting to discuss or investigate the issue publicly.
According to Luna, some officials feared professional consequences for speaking about classified programmes or sightings connected to military operations.

Whistleblower Protections and Disclosure Disputes
Luna accused what she described as 'bureaucratic agencies' of repeatedly blocking efforts to expand whistleblower protections and disclosure legislation related to UAP investigations.
She said members of Congress had attempted several times to include UAP-related protections in bipartisan legislation but claimed those efforts were halted during the legislative process.
The congresswoman also referenced allegations involving possible 'back-engineering programmes' examining reported recovered technology or materials. However, no evidence confirming the existence of such programmes has been publicly released by the US government.
According to Luna, the task force's focus is to determine whether taxpayer funds have been used appropriately and whether federal agencies have complied with disclosure laws and congressional oversight requirements.
FBI Involvement and Security Questions
Luna said some of the recently released material involved FBI investigations conducted in Florida. She described the FBI as one of the agencies that had taken reports involving unexplained aerial activity seriously from a national security perspective.
The Pentagon has previously stated that many UAP reports involve misidentified objects, sensor irregularities or conventional aircraft. The Department of Defense and NASA have both maintained that investigations have not identified verified evidence of alien spacecraft or non-human technology.
Luna also suggested discussions involving UAP investigations had included communication with foreign governments, although she did not provide additional details about those conversations.
Debate Over Transparency Continues
The latest comments reflect continuing political and public interest surrounding government transparency on unexplained aerial incidents.
Supporters of broader disclosure efforts argue additional records could help clarify how federal agencies have handled sightings involving military personnel and aircraft.
For now, the additional records requested by Luna's task force remain under review, while federal agencies continue to emphasise that unexplained aerial sightings do not automatically indicate non-human origins.

Aliens Among Us: Are We Being Prepared for a Great Deception?
May 11, 2026
Something has shifted in our culture.
For decades, conversations about UFOs and extraterrestrials were confined to science fiction conventions, late-night radio shows, and fringe conspiracy circles.
Today, however, governments openly discuss UAPs—Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Military pilots testify before Congress. Major news networks treat the subject seriously. Streaming platforms release documentaries weekly.
Hollywood continues to normalize the idea that humanity is not alone.
The question is no longer whether people are fascinated with aliens. The question is why this fascination is accelerating at such a dramatic pace.
Could it be that modern culture is being conditioned for a spiritual deception unlike anything the world has ever seen?
The Bible may not use the word “alien,” but Scripture speaks extensively about non-human intelligences, spiritual beings, powers in heavenly places, and entities that interact with humanity.
The Apostle Paul warned believers that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age.”
What if many of the phenomena being interpreted as extraterrestrial are actually spiritual in nature?
That possibility deserves serious consideration.
Hollywood has long served as a prophetic echo chamber for cultural transformation. Entertainment often prepares the public psychologically before society embraces a new worldview.
From Close Encounters of the Third Kind to Arrival, from Marvel multiverse narratives to endless alien invasion storylines, modern media repeatedly presents advanced non-human beings as either humanity’s destroyers or humanity’s saviors.
That distinction matters. Because at the core of biblical prophecy is the warning that deception will intensify in the last days.
Jesus Himself said, “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Most Christians interpret this only as a reference to moral corruption.
But Genesis 6 presents something far stranger and far darker. The Bible says there were “giants” or Nephilim on the earth when the “sons of God” came unto the daughters of men.
Ancient Jewish writings such as the Book of Enoch—while not considered Scripture by most Christians—expand on this narrative by describing rebellious spiritual beings known as Watchers who descended to earth, corrupted humanity, and introduced forbidden knowledge.
These Watchers were associated with occult practices, warfare, sorcery, and technological corruption. Whether one accepts every detail of Enoch or not, the New Testament writers clearly reference this tradition.
Jude speaks of angels who “did not keep their proper domain.” Peter similarly refers to angels who sinned and were cast into chains of darkness.
This is not mythology to the biblical writers. It is spiritual history. And it may also point to spiritual realities returning in the last days.
Modern UFO encounters often involve phenomena that sound less like science fiction and more like spiritual manifestations.
Many reports include paralysis, missing time, telepathic communication, altered consciousness, levitation, glowing beings, and messages about humanity evolving into a new spiritual age.
These encounters frequently blur the line between the technological and the supernatural.
That should concern us.
The Bible warns that Satan masquerades as an “angel of light.” Deception rarely appears evil at first glance. It often appears enlightened, advanced, compassionate, and even salvific.
Could an “alien disclosure” movement eventually become the foundation for a new global spirituality?
Could humanity be persuaded that religion is outdated and that advanced cosmic beings are here to guide human evolution?
That scenario sounds extreme—until you realize many influential voices already promote versions of it.
1/2
The modern New Age movement increasingly merges extraterrestrials with spirituality. Terms like “ascended masters,” “light beings,” “star people,” and “cosmic consciousness” have entered mainstream vocabulary.
Social media influencers openly discuss channeling entities. Psychedelic experiences are celebrated as pathways to hidden dimensions. Ancient paganism is being rebranded for the digital age.
Yet the Bible consistently warns believers not to seek spiritual revelation outside of God.
One of the most fascinating details in Scripture appears in Daniel 2:43, where Daniel describes a future kingdom in which “they will mingle with the seed of men.”
Scholars debate the meaning of this passage, but its wording is undeniably strange. Who are the “they”? Why is there an emphasis on mingling with humanity?
Jesus connected the end times directly to the “days of Noah,” suggesting patterns from Genesis may re-emerge before His return.
Perhaps we are watching the early stages of that now.
None of this means every unidentified object in the sky is demonic. Some sightings likely involve advanced military technology.
Others may remain unexplained natural phenomena. Christians should avoid sensationalism and paranoia. But believers should also avoid naïveté. The spiritual realm is real.
The Bible describes angels, fallen angels, principalities, powers, cherubim, seraphim, and heavenly hosts. Scripture presents a universe alive with spiritual activity.
To dismiss all supernatural phenomena simply because modern culture labels it “alien” is intellectually and spiritually shortsighted.
At the same time, Christians must resist fear.
The answer to deception is not obsession with darkness. It is greater discernment rooted in Christ.
Too many believers spend more time studying UFO documentaries than studying Scripture. Our calling is not to become consumed with speculation but to remain spiritually awake. The enemy’s greatest strategy has always been counterfeiting truth.
In Egypt, Pharaoh’s magicians imitated Moses’ miracles. In the New Testament, false prophets performed signs and wonders. Revelation warns of deceptive supernatural displays in the last days. Satan’s kingdom thrives through imitation.
That is why discernment is critical.
The Church cannot afford to become biblically illiterate in an age of increasing spiritual confusion.
A generation raised on Marvel superheroes, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and cosmic mythology may struggle to distinguish between technological wonder and spiritual deception.
And perhaps that is precisely the point. The battle before us is not merely political or cultural. It is spiritual. The Apostle Paul called Satan “the prince of the power of the air.”
That phrase takes on startling new relevance in a world increasingly fascinated with mysterious aerial phenomena.
As conversations about aliens, disclosure, and non-human intelligence continue to intensify, Christians must approach the subject with both wisdom and biblical clarity.
We should neither mock the discussion nor surrender to sensationalism. Instead, we should ask deeper questions. The greatest issue is whether humanity can still recognize truth in an age of unprecedented deception.

UFO Disclosure Battle Commences As Trump Administration Releases Files
10 May 2026
President Donald Trump’s administration has done something unprecedented.
It has committed itself to UFO transparency, putting its weight and authority behind a series of intriguing files, images and videos.
Some were previously unclassified.
Others were previously classified.
Since its launch on Friday 8 May, the WAR.GOV/UFO website, hosting the files, has received nearly 500 million hits as of 14 hours ago.
We now expect the next batch of material, in what appears to be an ongoing process. Transparency advocate Representative Tim Burchett has promised a “holy crap” moment.
He, along with other prominent lawmakers, including Eric Burlison and Anna Paulina Luna, is pressing for the release of 46 videos that could shift public opinion and embarrass the political and media elites who have so far sneered at the first batch of disclosures.
But behind the optimism, several distinct groups of sources have told Liberation Times that the first release falls far short of what real disclosure would require.
Despite promising signs and intent, sources tell Liberation Times that they have been left unimpressed and that the public must now stand up and demand more.
On the quality of the material released so far, an intelligence source familiar with collection systems told Liberation Times that future imagery and video releases must come from national systems, rather than tactical systems with lower security classifications.
They said:
‘The video footage that has been released came from tactical military systems with lower security classifications.
What has not been released was collected by the national systems controlled by the National Reconnaissance Office and CIA, deployed in sensitive areas where no U.S. or allied presence is publicly acknowledged.’
The source suggested that the CIA’s clandestine collection capabilities may have captured scientific data relating to UFOs.
They also claimed that more substantial disclosure could come from space-based electro-optical reconnaissance platforms, operated by the National Reconnaissance Office.
The systems were not designed to monitor UFOs, but the source said such objects have likely appeared within their frames.
The lack of analytical context has also caused frustration among people familiar with how such material would normally be assessed inside government.
Adding to frustrations, President Trump posted on Truth Social that ‘the people can decide for themselves.’
One source added:
‘These files do not include the finished intelligence analyses produced by various departments and agencies. Those finished analyses would be classified and require review by the original classification authority before release.’
Liberation Times understands from another source that members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, who are aware of classified UFO information, may have expected fuller analytical context from the Trump administration.
According to a person familiar with those expectations, the released documents were not regarded as disclosure.
Furthermore, there are fears that files may have been planted in the release to discredit the topic.
1/2
Another source who spoke to Liberation Times was baffled as to why the files included multiple FBI records but no content from the Department of Homeland Security, whose responsibilities include countering drone threats to the homeland.
This is seen as a big omission, as UFOs are consistently misidentified as drones and vice versa.
Several intelligence and defense sources told Liberation Times that, in their view, UFO disclosure would mean:
An explicit acknowledgement that the U.S. has recovered vehicles and bodies of non-human origin, potentially including living beings
An acknowledgement that the U.S. government has entered into cooperative agreements with non-human entities, and has used their assistance to understand and adapt exotic technologies.
Three sources have claimed to Liberation Times that the Trump administration is facing resistance in its quest to release more substantial information by figures linked to the CIA.
One person allegedly providing resistance, according to those sources, is Aaron Lukas, Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence.
Lukas previously worked for the CIA, serving as an intelligence analyst and later as a Station Chief, a title usually associated with a substantial operational career. Much of his work with the Agency remains classified.
But he was previously described as a foreign service officer with the Department of State during this period. However, official records indicate that he was employed by the CIA from April 2004 onward, first as an analyst and then as an operations officer.
His official biography reads:
‘A seasoned intelligence professional and former CIA Chief of Station, PDDNI Lukas has managed sensitive clandestine programs that have significantly impacted US national security.
‘He is certified in the CIA's most advanced tradecraft and has conducted covert operations and managed liaison relationships around the globe, leveraging his unique training and foreign language skills.’
Politico recently reported that Lukas is seen as a favourite to lead the Office of the Director of National Intelligence if his current boss, Tulsi Gabbard, who has publicly advocated for greater UFO transparency, leaves her position.
The director of the Pentagon’s UFO office, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, must report to Lukas and Steve Feinberg, who is the deputy secretary of war.
Publicly, Lukas welcomed the first batch of files released by the Department of War, commenting on X:
‘A historic UAP declassification effort is underway thanks to @POTUS.
‘We appreciate the Intelligence Community professionals, Department of War personnel, and others across the USG who are devoting their time and resources to this enormous, complex task. This administration is delivering unprecedented transparency for the American people.’
But sources have told Liberation Times that they suspect Lukas is working within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in a way that protects CIA interests, including elements they believe may be opposed to President Trump’s UFO transparency directive.
These sources specifically pointed to the Weapons and Counterproliferation Mission Center and the Directorate of Science and Technology, which they allege have historically been among the CIA components most closely involved in the analysis and retrieval of UFOs.
Matthew Ford, host of the Good Trouble Show, who is familiar with the allegations surrounding Lukas, alleged to Liberation Times that Lukas is assisting both the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency:
“Based on more than a year of reporting and multiple source threads with visibility into ODNI, Lukas is doing favors for senior CIA and Defense Intelligence Agency officers to block Trump officials, including his own boss DNI Tulsi Gabbard, from getting the UFO legacy program under control.
“He is literally undermining Tulsi. This is not slow-walking the file releases. This is the deep state in its purest form. Career intelligence officers locking down a classified program that should be under the lawful authority of the political appointees confirmed to run it.
The pattern is consistent across multiple independent threads. The file releases are surface. The control of the legacy program is the real question.”
Another source told Liberation Times that the public, Congress and the President must take a stand by demanding greater transparency, while calling out those who resist such efforts.
The source also posed the following question:
“If the U.S. government is seeing all these strange things around the globe and cannot explain them, why are other nations, like the United Kingdom and Australia, not being up front with their own citizens? It’s clear now that there is a global cover-up.”

Next UFO file dump could occur this week: Ross Coulthart
May 10, 2026
Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart tells “NewsNation Prime” that the next wave of UFO-related files from the Trump administration could come as soon as this Friday.
The initial tranche of material sparked interest but presented nothing conclusive about whether extraterrestrials have visited Earth.
