There are "lodges" within Masons who vote.

This book published in 1802 gives a clear picture of how the Masonic Lodges – gentlemen's clubs that dabbled in mysteries – were indoctrinated into Illuminism.

Weishauph began turning the lodges in Germany, and then Illuminism became popular in France because of the influence of Voltaire – who was an immoral creep who hated Christianity – hated Jesus – not just the church.

The "illumined" lodges converted many in the Southern states in america to their Illuminsim, and they considered the Northern lodges to be the bougeiousie comparatively to France.

The author says that these Illumined southern lodges vexed the north and feared what damage they could do to the union.

very very interesting history – written in the day
