Israeli-British illusionist Uri Geller reacted to US Congressman Tim Burchett's warning that the next batch of declassified UFO files will dwarf what has already been released, stating he “believes every word of it.”
Uri Geller (79), who rose to global fame in the 1970s for his claimed ability to bend spoons and stop watches through the power of his mind, has long insisted his paranormal abilities are genuine.
He became one of the most recognizable and debated figures of the 20th century, attracting both devoted believers and fierce skeptics. The psychic was reportedly studied by scientists at Stanford Research Institute for his alleged psychic capabilities.
Earlier, Tim Burchett, a member of the UAP Caucus with access to classified briefings, told Joe Rogan that the first cache of 162 documents was merely "a drop in the bucket," adding that "Holy Crap is coming" with future releases.
The congressman also described pilots reporting UAP encounters being pulled from active duty and sent for psychological evaluation and alleged sightings of underwater craft moving at over 200 miles per hour and as large as a football field.
For Uri Geller, the disclosure is deeply personal. In his tweet he claims that in the 1970s, rocket scientist Wernher von Braun showed him fragments of metal recovered from a crashed UFO, which he described as feeling "conscious" and "alive" when he held them.
Von Braun then allegedly drove him to a refrigerated underground facility at NASA's Goddard Space Center, where Geller says he saw "small, mangled bodies of beings that were very clearly not human" stored behind frosted glass containers.
Geller says the already-released files — which include Apollo and Gemini mission reports describing astronauts encountering strange lights and objects near their crafts and hovering above the Moon — vindicate claims he has made for decades, while facing public ridicule.
"I've carried this knowledge for more than 50 years," Geller wrote. "So, when Tim Burchett says 'Holy Crap' is coming, I truly hope it includes what I saw — and that NASA's full involvement is finally exposed."
On May 8, 2026, the Department of War released 162 documents under President Trump's directoives of February 19, 2026. The next set of UFO materials will drop soon.
