The most interesting bad guys are the conflicted ones that think they're doing the right things for the right reasons, but its the wrong things for the wrong reasons. There are also the more boring bad guys that are just evil POS. We're the good guys trying to wake up the sleeping good guys before its too late. Then it all makes sense without it making sense.
