Shooting comes amid record high complaints of anti-Muslim bias and discrimination, CAIR says

Monday’s shooting at San Diego’s largest mosque comes amid rising complaints of bias and discrimination against Muslims, the Council on American-Islamic Relations said in a statement.

The nonprofit, which advocates for Muslim civil rights, received 8,683 complaints across the US in 2025, they said in a report.

That’s the highest number of complaints in one year since CAIR’s first civil rights report covering 1996, according to the report.

Police haven’t said anything about the possible motive in Monday’s attack.

They're requesting $1B in federal dollars. There is no proof any of them have paid any taxes or are here legally. One of the alleged (deceased) hooters has a Hispanic last name. One or both shooters could themselves be illegals.

There is ZERO reporting on whether the deceased security guard was Muslim or whether the 2 deceased males outside the mosque (or the landscaper who reportedly was shot at but not injured blocks away) were Muslim. No reporting at all on that point. None of the apparently Muslim (based on the teachers' and the waiting mothers' dress) children in the schools have been reported to have ever been in harm's way.

Yet police said, "This is being treated as a hate crime [before "possible" hate language was "found" in teens' mom's vehicle] … "until it is not."

Shouldn't police at least wait to see if any of the deceased are, in fact, Muslim and until there is a hint of a motive?

BY CONTRAST,when an African American male stood up and slashed a young white girl to death- who was sitting, quietly reading in a different row on public transportation, and he can be heard off camera immediately afterward saying: "I got that white girl… " repeatedly, he has not, and apparently won't, be charged with a hate crime!

Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr., the man accused of fatally stabbing 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte, North Carolina light rail train in August 2025,has not been charged with a hate crime.

While the brutal attack sparked public calls for a hate crime investigation, prosecutors instead charged Brown federally with a specific mass transportation crime.

The official charges against him include:

State Level: First-degree murder.

Federal Level: Violence against a railroad carrier and mass transportation system resulting in death.

Wouldn't that be something… If and when corrupt state or federal agencies start granting one group of illegals $1B purportedly to protect them against "hatred" from another group of illegals in competition with them for a foothold in a given area of U.S. - while both groups are "hating" the American citizens that they are displacing and the country (USA) that is funding their takeover!
