i got a better one for you. anybody can do this for stress relief. it's something that could very well help with the "flight" condition of PTSD. The idea is that when you exercise your psoas muscles, which connects to your brain via a completely different nerve system than the rest, it sends calming signals to the brain sufficient to pull you out of an anxiety or panic attack.

another similar known method is vagus nerve stimulations. both exercising the psoas muscle and vagus nerve stimulations are a great way to manage panic attacks and anxiety attacks. over years, not decades, it will help with healing from PTSD.

EMDR is even more effective. it too is a similar method to vagus nerve stimulations and psoas muscle exercises except EMDR affects the core of the brain that is rewired in those with PTSD. EMDR has a great chance at sending the "all clear" signal to the part of the brain affected by PTSD. but this is why you need a therapist to do this. they need to guide you through the process and you need someone there to talk things out when your repressed emotional memories start to surface. because they will resurface and you will need someone there to talk you through it when it happens.

There. that should cure at least 40% of people with trauma.
