Disgraced Demo Contractor Blames Duggan for Detroit's Poisoning

I was invited for an exclusive interview with Lover Boy, but he chickened out, so here's what I would have asked him

By Charlie LeDuff · May 20, 2026

Lover Boy left me standing in a monsoon.

I had been invited to his press conference for an exclusive interview to hear former Gayanga CEO Brian McKinney’s side of things regarding the mass poisoning of Detroit.

Then, thinking better of it, Lover Boy had me put out on the street.

I was standing on Jefferson when the heavens opened. The bums at the bus stop scattered. My papers got drenched. But that’s okay. I had the subject matter memorized.

Good thing I'd brought a bullhorn. I shouted my questions over the howling winds while Lover Boy was six floors up, spinning the media with tales of woe and done-me-wrong. I hoped they could hear me up there.

McKinney, the former consort of Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield, is being investigated by a host of law enforcement agencies—including the FBI—for faking receipts for clean dirt, charging the city top dollar for it, and then dumping the toxic garbage into the neighborhoods when it should have gone to a landfill. This bad dirt could cause cancer.

McKinney agrees that the city has been poisoned. But he blames former Mayor Mike Duggan and his cronies for supplying him with the toxic dirt.

The clean up could cost more than $100 million and send the city spiraling back into bankruptcy. And $100 million is exactly the amount McKinney is suing the Detroit Inspector General for. He claims the Inspector defamed him for inspecting his work.

That’s like O.J. Simpson suing the LAPD for investigating a break-in.

There’s little doubt O.J. did it. But I don’t know if McKinney did. I’ll leave that to Johnny Lawman and the courts. Sheffield, Duggan, and the City Council are all hiding in their badger holes, leaving concerned citizens in the dark. So in the interest of public health, I shouted what I thought were a few important questions through the purifying rains.

Did McKinney remember Mike? Mike was his former foreman in charge of writing up the questionable dirt receipts. Mike reached out to me last week claiming the receipts were forgeries. Mike sent me copies of tickets written in his own hand, showing truck drivers allegedly being in two different places collecting dirt at the same time. Was McKinney aware of this? Mike claims he was.

Or what about McKinney’s former bookkeeper who alleges there was a forgery mill going on in the back office?

Or what about the Northland redevelopment job in Southfield, where the contaminated dirt allegedly came from that went into Gayanga’s demolition holes? Does McKinney know that the prominent contractor on that site is cooperating with the authorities?

Did he discuss business with then-city councilwoman Sheffield while they were “getting to know each other” at a Miami hotel underneath 350-thread count sheets? Sheffield told the public last fall that she never voted on a contract for Gayanga while she was canoodling with McKinney. But that turned out to be a lie.

How did McKinney meet Mayor Mike Duggan? How did he become Hizzoner’s preferred minority demo contractor? Why was he allowed to work without construction insurance? Did Duggan appoint him to the Detroit Institute of Arts board of directors?

What about the millions of dollars subcontractors claim McKinney owes them? Who’s going to pay them? Who’s going pay for this massive clean-up?

And how did McKinney link up with Bobby Ferguson’s old crew? While Bobby was doing time in federal prison for Kwame-related things, McKinney became business partners with Bobby’s ex-wife. He hired Bobby’s cousin. He used Bobby’s equipment and staging yard.

I had more questions, but the tropical winds were really buffeting by then. Dirt was blowing in my eyes. No telling where it had come from.

DOJ Indicts U.S Attorney Who Supported Jack Smith Case Against President Trump– Stealing Classified Documents Related to Mar-a-Lago Case

May 20, 2026 | Sundance |

Last weekend former FBI Director James Comey said there were multiple officials remaining within the DOJ and FBI who were actively working to continue the weaponization of the agencies against President Donald Trump. When asked about it earlier today, President Trump said Acting AG Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel would root them out and deal with the issue.

Hours later the Dept of Justice released and indictment {SEE HERE} against Managing Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Fort Pierce Branch, Carmen M. Lineberger. Asst USAO Lineberger was caught downloading classified files from the Jack Smith case to her personal email and labeling them as recipes so she could leak them to Lawfare resistance members.

According to FBI Director Kash Patel, “This afternoon, a former managing assistant U.S. Attorney who supported Jack Smith’s politicized investigation of President Trump has been charged with stealing the confidential investigation documents. Carmen Lineberger allegedly emailed the confidential material to her own personal email, disguising them as dessert recipes to conceal them from record searches. Lineberger is charged with four felony counts in the indictment. This FBI will not hesitate to bring to account those who violated the trust of the American public in an investigation that should’ve never been brought to begin with.” {link}

The files Ms. Lineberger is accused of stealing, relate to the Jack Smith case files from the Mar-a-Lago investigation that Judge Aileen Cannon previously sealed. [Link Below] It appears attorney Carmen Lineberger was in the process of covering her tracks when she was discovered downloading the material and transmitting it outside the U.S. Attorney offices. {INDICTMENT HERE}

After Special Counsel Jack Smith was dispatched by Judge Aileen Cannon, his team continued to organize materials to frame the hit against an incoming Trump administration. Judge Cannon calls out this wrongdoing as part of her ruling to keep all the records sealed. [Ruling pdf Here]

These people are fucking crazy. They should give a psych test on every U.S. attorney if the have TDSWeird these people are defend Justice but the willingly break the law to implement their justice.

Why Trump Bucked His Party and Made a Risky Bet on Ken Paxton

President emboldened by recent electoral victories and frustrated with congressional Republicans who backed Paxton’s GOP opponent

WSJ of course

Sen. Tim Scott called President Trump on Tuesday with a last-ditch plea.

The president was on the verge of publicly endorsing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the state’s tightly contested Republican primary. Scott, a South Carolina Republican who leads the Senate’s campaign arm, urged him to reconsider, according to people familiar with the conversation.

Thirty minutes later, Trump backed Paxton anyway, breaking with Scott and other senior Republicans in Washington, who have long believed that Paxton’s GOP opponent, four-term incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, was a safer bet.

The decision, which came after months of waffling, reflected the president’s renewed conviction that he maintains an iron grip on the party following recent electoral victories, according to people familiar with his thinking. It was also a warning shot to Republicans in Congress that Trump won’t tolerate dissent.

The White House didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Trump’s decision comes with political risks. Though Republicans still have a good shot at winning in deep-red Texas, many GOP strategists worry that Paxton is a flawed candidate. He has been accused by his top lieutenants of abusing his office (he has denied wrongdoing), impeached by his own party (he was later acquitted), charged with securities fraud (he resolved the charges with a pretrial deal) and is currently in the middle of a divorce initiated by his wife “on biblical grounds.”

Paxton has consistently denied wrongdoing and characterized accusations of illegal or immoral behavior as attacks by left-wing enemies. The winner of next week’s Republican runoff will face Democrat James Talarico, who some national GOP groups view as a formidable opponent. Trump has told advisers in recent weeks that he views Talarico as a weak candidate.

Though both Paxton and Cornyn have vied for Trump’s coveted endorsement, the president had long resisted picking a favorite in the race. The competition between the two men has been ugly, with Cornyn attacking Paxton for infidelity in marriage, and Paxton calling Cornyn old, weak and too bipartisan for Texas.

In March, Trump had been set to endorse Cornyn, with a Truth Social post already drafted, people close to the campaign said. Paxton managed to head off the endorsement by attacking Cornyn online for not doing enough to pass Trump’s favored voting bill.

When neither failed to win 50% of the vote in the March primary, the two made it to the runoff set for next Tuesday.

Paxton had only a brief heads-up about Trump’s coming endorsement. He spoke to Trump by phone an hour or two before the president’s announcement, according to a person with knowledge of the conversation…

(Our Senate is the most corrupted in all of our countries history.)

Time for US to put its footprint back on Greenland’ – Trump envoy

Jeff Landry has questioned the Arctic island’s sovereignty while calling for a stronger American presence in the autonomous Danish territory

Published 21 May, 2026 13:06

Washington needs to reimpose its presence in Greenland, US special envoy Jeff Landry has said, as the administration of President Donald Trump seeks to expand its military and strategic footprint on the Arctic island.

The Republican governor of Louisiana arrived in Nuuk on Sunday at Trump’s assignment to “find a lot of new friends.” The visit followed months of tensions stirred by Trump’s calls for an American takeover of the autonomous Danish territory and sparked controversy after it emerged that Greenlandic authorities reportedly had not officially invited Landry.

“I think it’s time for the US to put its footprint back on Greenland,” he told AFP on Wednesday during his first visit to Greenland since taking up the post in December 2025, adding that the US is looking at boosting military operations and reviving former bases on the island.

The US operated 17 military installations across Greenland during the Cold War, but most were later shuttered, leaving Pituffik base in the island’s far north as Washington’s only remaining military outpost.

Recent media reports suggested that Washington is in talks with Denmark and is seeking to open three new bases in southern Greenland.

“I think you’re seeing the president talk about increasing national security operations and repopulating certain bases in Greenland,” Landry told the outlet.

Under a 1951 defense agreement with Denmark, updated in 2004, the US is already permitted to expand troop deployments and military infrastructure on the island, provided Copenhagen and Greenlandic authorities are notified in advance.

Greenlandic and Danish officials have repeatedly insisted that the island alone will decide its future, rejecting outside pressure over its sovereignty, in a stance that reflects a growing split within NATO as Denmark – a founding member of the bloc – finds itself at odds with Washington.

Landry questioned whether Greenland currently had sovereignty at all when asked by Danish broadcaster DR whether an expanded US presence on the island would respect Greenlandic self-rule, while insisting Washington had always respected sovereignty, “even in places where we have had to go in and liberate.”

At the same time, he dismissed fears of a US takeover, saying Greenlanders “should not be afraid.”

Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens Frederik Nielsen said after meeting Landry on Monday that the island’s position toward the US “had not moved an inch,” reiterating that Greenland’s “red lines” remained unchanged. He also noted that despite “constructive talks” there was “no sign” Washington had softened its stance.

Declassified US military documents showed Washington viewed Greenland as vital to American security as early as 1946, prompting a $100 million offer to buy the island and even discussions about swapping part of Alaska. Denmark rejected the proposals, and the issue was later shelved after Copenhagen joined NATO and agreed to host US military bases in Greenland.

Trump renewed the push to bring the mineral-rich Arctic territory under greater US control, claiming that the island risks falling into the hands of China or Russia.

Satanic Temple’ torn down near Moscow (VIDEO)

The site was linked to occult leader Elena Sulikova, who was found guilty of inciting violence against Russian Orthodox clergy

Published 21 May, 2026 09:02 |

According to media reports, residents repeatedly petitioned the authorities to clear the site, describing the compound as a “witch’s lair” and a “Satanic Temple,” citing unsettling “magical rituals” on the premises.

The compound was built around 2019 on money donated by followers of Elena Sulikova, known by her alias Alyona Polyn. The 46-year-old occult leader reportedly charged devotees tens of thousands of rubles in exchange for promises to fix their finances, love lives, and to teach them “the craft.”

Sulikova – who styled herself as the “chief witch of the Kremlin” – claimed that she appeared on ‘Battle of the Psychics’, a Russian reality show in which self-proclaimed clairvoyants competed for prizes. However, the producers denied that she was ever on the show.

She also engaged in esoteric-related businesses, including managing the now-defunct ‘International University of Magic and Witchcraft’ (nicknamed ‘Hogwarts’ in the media) in Moscow Region, which in practice had little to do with education.

In 2025, Sulikova was sentenced to two years in a penal colony after she pleaded guilty to charges of distributing extremist materials inciting violence against Russian Orthodox clergy and posting online content that insulted Christians.

The demolition of the temple also came after it drew the attention of State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov, a staunch supporter of “traditional Russian values.”

“I know about this satanic place,” he said last year. “I have long been waging war with this crazy lady. We managed to get her jailed, and now we’ll demolish her temple too – a reminder of her dark deeds: Deception, fraud, and insulting the feelings of believers.”

Milonov and Sulikova have feuded for years. He accused the occult leader of fraud and demanded that psychics be legally equated with prostitutes – prompting her to countersue for defamation. The self-styled witch said she won the lawsuit but demanded compensation of one ruble.

Germany considering paying Syrians $9,300 to return home – media

The payments currently offered to migrants willing to repatriate voluntarily could increase eightfold, according to Focus

Published 21 May, 2026 04

The German Interior Ministry is considering offering Syrian refugees up to €8,000 ($9,300) to return home voluntarily, Focus magazine reports, citing government sources. The proposal comes as support for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which has been campaigning heavily on migration concerns, reaches record highs.

Germany was one of the main destinations for Syrians fleeing the civil war during the 2014-2015 migrant crisis, after then-Chancellor Angela Merkel adopted an open-door migration policy.

More than 951,000 Syrians were living in Germany as of August 2025, according to the Interior Ministry’s data. Over 500,000 hold temporary residence permits tied to refugee or subsidiary protection status, while the number voluntarily returning to Syria remains relatively low, Focus reported on Wednesday.

Roman Poseck, the interior minister of the central German state of Hesse, argued that even tens of thousands of euros given to each refugee to go home would be worth it in the long run since otherwise, much more would have to be spent on accommodation in Germany. Under the current system, voluntary return payments average around €1,000 ($1,163).

“Support payments in the four-figure range or sometimes even in the lower five-figure range would often still be a gain for the state when measured against the long-term costs of social benefits,” he told Focus.

Berlin is now rejecting 95% of all new asylum applications by Syrians, German media reported last month. Chancellor Friedrich Merz said in March that up to 80% of Syrians living in Germany could return home over the next three years, later attributing the claim to Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa, who denied making the statement, calling the figure exaggerated.

Merz, who was recently rated Europe’s most unpopular leader, is facing growing pressure from the right. The AfD has emerged as Germany’s most popular party, surpassing the chancellor’s Christian Democratic Union in terms of public support, according to a poll last month. The right-wing party came out on top despite a boycott by all mainstream parties and accusations of extremism by its critics.
