Parents’ Rights Group Calls for Graham Platner to Be Barred From Maine School Properties Amid Growing Controversies

SULLIVAN, Maine – A Maine parents’ advocacy organization is calling for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner (D) to be banned from school properties across the state following resurfaced online posts and a growing list of controversies that have engulfed his campaign.
In a media release issued Wednesday, Parents’ Rights in Education Maine and RSU 9 District Leader Emma Enman said recent reports involving Platner’s alleged past conduct have raised serious concerns among parents and community members regarding his presence at school-related political events and activities.
The controversy stems from resurfaced online posts allegedly tied to Platner that included graphic descriptions of__ sexual acts in public portable toilets__.The reports sparked immediate backlash across Maine political circles, with critics questioning whether a candidate associated with such conduct should be holding campaign events on school grounds or appearing at educational facilities.
“Recent reports ofU.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner masturbating in porta pottieshave people concerned about him being on school property,” the release states.
“As a mother, I am deeply disturbed and disgusted by the recent graphic revelations regarding Graham Platner’s sexually deviant behaviors in public restrooms,” Enman said in the statement. “Graham Platner’s past predatory behaviors must end his political rallies at schools here across Maine.”
The organization also referenced Maine statute 17-A §854, which addresses indecent conduct involving sexual acts in places open to the public, including portable toilets.
The latest controversy adds to a series of damaging revelations and politically explosive statements that have continued to follow Platner throughout his Senate campaign.
Among the most scrutinized issues has been Platner’s acknowledgment of having a Nazi-related tattoo in his past, which critics have repeatedly highlighted as raising serious questions about judgment and character. The tattoo controversy has lingered over the campaign for months, with opponents arguing it undermines his attempts to portray himself as a unifying political figure.
Platner has also faced backlash over resurfaced comments critics interpreted as blaming women for sexual assault, comments about police that angered law enforcement supporters, and controversial online statements regarding African-Americans and tipping that opponents have labeled offensive and racially insensitive.
The accumulation of controversies has increasingly become a central issue in the Senate race, particularly as Platner attempts to campaign across Maine communities and public institutions.
Critics argue the repeated stream of online posts, inflammatory remarks, and past behavior patterns paint a troubling picture for a candidate seeking federal office. Supporters, meanwhile, have attempted to dismiss some of the resurfaced content as old posts or political attacks amplified during a heated campaign season.
Still, the pressure surrounding Platner appears to be intensifying, particularly among parents’ groups and conservative activists who say schools should not be venues for political events involving candidates facing allegations of inappropriate public sexual behavior.
The controversy comes as Maine’s Senate race continues drawing heightened statewide attention, with Platner remaining one of the most polarizing figures in Maine politics.

Ex-Marine U.S. Senate Wannabe Graham Platner Complained About Taxing Prostitution In Thailand

Platner’s campaign has been plagued by his derogatory comments about women.
For Maine Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner, the seedier he gets the better he bests his GOP opponent.
Of late he talked about masturbating in public bathrooms andnow it’s complaining about taxing prostitution.
Nonetheless the latest Pan Atlantic poll shows him beating five-term U.S. Sen. Susan Collins by seven points.
The most recent report came Wednesday quotingPlatner once lamenting the closing of a loophole that allowed military contractors to save money on taxes by spending their time off “banging hookers in Thailand” instead of getting “b*tched” at by their wives back in the United States.
“Spend your leave banging hookers in Thailand instead of getting b*tched at by the wife back home, and you could sell it as avoiding federal income tax,” Platner wrote on Reddit in June 2019, according to the Daily Wire.
“Once the Afghans started using our paychecks as a personal piggy bank, that whole loophole disappeared,” Platner said, as quoted by the Daily Wire’s Leif Le Mahieu.
Platner made the comments under the name “P-Hustle,” a handle he admitted to using after an archive of his Reddit posts was discovered.
“Hell, with those DoD static contracts, those poor bastards literally are just making 65 a year,” Platner posted under the user name “P-Hustle” on a thread.
“Sadly, the Afghan tax f***ed everybody on the 330 game.”
The reference is IRS regulations allowing a significant portion of income to be exempt if a person spends at least 330 days in a foreign country during a 12-month period.
The loophole allows American military contractors to avoid paying higher federal income taxes if they spend significant time overseas.

>Lisa Monaco, the former U.S. Deputy AG under Biden, has been referred to the DOJ for allegedly covering up investigations into Microsoft's cybersecurity breaches.
Lisa Monaco (often spelled "Monaco") is a career DOJ official and Obama/Biden administration figure. She served as:
Chief of Staff (and earlier deputy chief of staff/counselor) to FBI Director Robert Mueller (roughly 2006–2009).
Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Advisor to President Obama (2013–2017), a senior White House role.
Deputy Attorney General (No. 2 at DOJ) under Biden and AG Merrick Garland (2021–2025).
She later joined Microsoft as President of Global Affairs.
### Connections to the Russia Collusion Investigation ("Hoax" per Critics)
Monaco's direct operational involvement in launching Crossfire Hurricane (the FBI's 2016 Trump-Russia probe) or the Steele dossier appears limited, but she held senior roles during key periods:
Obama White House (2016–2017): As Homeland Security Advisor, she publicly announced and helped coordinate Obama's post-election review of Russian election interference/hacking. She briefed Congress on the topic while the FBI ran Crossfire Hurricane.
She participated in or was tied to the broader Obama administration response to alleged Russian activities, which critics (including Durham report skeptics and Trump allies) view as politicized groundwork for the collusion narrative.
Mueller ties: Her prior close work with Robert Mueller (as his chief of staff) linked her to the special counsel's later Russia investigation team in public perception, though she was not a core prosecutor there. Critics have highlighted her as part of the "Mueller orbit."
Conservative commentary (e.g., Julie Kelly, America First Legal, X posts) portrays her as "right in the middle" of the hoax, including briefing activities and the broader "Russia collusion" push. Some tie her to later efforts to address or conceal related matters.
The Durham investigation and related probes criticized the FBI's predicate for Crossfire Hurricane as weak, with heavy reliance on unverified Steele dossier material. Monaco is not a central named figure in those reports like Comey, Strzok, or Brennan, but her Obama White House and Mueller background placed her in the ecosystem. Critics often group her with officials accused of pushing or sustaining the narrative.
### Biden Administration Role (2021–2025)
As Deputy AG, she was a top operational leader at DOJ:
Oversaw major aspects of the department, including national security, cyber, and high-profile investigations.
Involved in or briefed on matters related to Jan. 6, Trump classified documents case (Jack Smith), and other Trump-related probes.
Helped lead responses to Russian activities post-Ukraine invasion (e.g., sanctions enforcement, KleptoCapture task force), separate from 2016 issues.
Critics accused her of weaponization of DOJ against conservatives/Trump, including coordination with groups like the SPLC.
Summary of Criticisms: Trump and allies have called her a "menace" and linked her to lawfare, Russia hoax remnants, and selective prosecution. Her career trajectory (Mueller → Obama WH → Biden DAG) fuels "deep state" narratives.
This is based on public records, official bios, news reports, and partisan critiques. Primary sources like the Durham Report, IG Horowitz on FISA, and Senate timelines provide the factual backbone for 2016 events; Monaco is peripheral rather than a lead actor in declassified materials.

Senator John Cornyn LOVES Lisa Monaco…
Julie Kelly 🇺🇸
@julie_kelly2
Lisa Monaco was Robert Mueller’s chief of staff when he ran the FBI. She was one of Obama’s closest aides—she participated in secret Situation Room meetings with John Brennan in 2016 to concoct Russia collusion hoax.
After Trump won, she became an outspoken critic of Donald Trump
During her Senate confirmation hearing—she was confirmed by 48 GOP senators with Paul and Cruz opposing—she did not face a single question about Russia collusion hoax.
Then @JohnCornyn
took to the floor to give his full throated glowing endorsement for her nomination as deputy AG.
She immediately opened an investigation into Trump for Jan 6 and later worked with NARA officials to fabricate a documents case.
Wonder if Cornyn still has 😍 for her?

Maine’s Celebrity Democrat Oyster King Called Out For Epstein Connections Amid U.S. Senate Race

Note: Subsequent to our publication of this story, the Daily Mail changed it’s story to note that although “Spyros Niarchos appeared in several files relating to Epstein, A representative for Spyros Niarchos has confirmed that he has never met or spoken with Jeffrey Epstein, and that any suggestion of an association or relationship is incorrect.” The Maine Wire’s initial story accurately cited and quoted the Daily Mail’s reporting at the time.
A British tabloid has latched onto a Maine candidate’s achilles heel stemming from his allegedly playing fast and loose with the “Epstein files.”
Seems Graham Platner has his own Epstein baggage even while he’s blasting the GOP senator he could well be facing come November for a cover-up.
The Daily Mail is citing a piece from the Maine Small Business Development Centers reporting thatPlatner received $20,000 from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation five years ago to fund his oyster business.
Spyros Niarchos, on the foundation board, “has beendescribed by Greek newspaper Documento as a member of the ‘inner circle of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein,”the Daily Mail reports.
Niarchos appeared in several of the files relating to Epstein that have been released by the U.S. Department of Justice in recent months.
Word of the possible Platner/Epstein connection comes in the wake of golden boy Platner complaining that U.S. Sen. Susan Collins failed to vote to release the Epstein files.
Platner better be careful of what he wishes for.
If he wins the Democrat nomination over Gov. Janet Mills – as the polls suggest may indeed happen – he could well be facing Collins in the general election this fall.

'Working Class' Graham Platner Attended Elite $75K a Year Prep School Known for Famous Government Alumni
Platner portrays himself as a 'working class Mainer' and is backed by Bernie Sanders, who says he'll 'fight for the working class'

Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner, the self-described "working class Mainer,"attended an elite boarding school in Connecticut that costs upwards of $75,000 a year. Its alumni include Supreme Court justice Potter Stewart, former CIA director Porter Goss, Clinton family crony Strobe Talbott, MacKenzie Scott Bezos, and the veteran news anchor Chris Wallace.
"Graham Platner is enrolled as a first-year student at the Hotchkiss School, located in Lakeville, Conn.," a Maine newspaper, the Ellsworth American, reported in November 1999. "Platner is familiar to many through his role as the Artful Dodger in 'Oliver' and as a 20th Maine Civil War Re-Enactor." The Hotchkiss School is located roughly 60 miles from Yale University in northwestern Connecticut.
Platner has discussed his days as a Civil War reenactor: The New Yorker reported his mother "hired a local seamstress to sew a Union uniform for him to wear to Civil War reenactments."
The revelation undercuts the working-class image Platner has attempted to present on the campaign trail. The left-wing candidate, who oncedescribed himself as a communist, described himself in his campaign launch video as a "working class Mainer who's seen this state become unlivable for working people."
Platner does not appear to have lasted long at the Hotchkiss School. A subsequent Ellsworth American piece published in 2002 lists Platner as one of four students in Sullivan, Maine, who made the hour-long commute to John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, a more cost-friendly private school. Platner is identified as a junior who is accustomed to the commute "after three years."
"What I like best is just the education," Platner told the paper. "Being a private school, you get much more attention."
John Bapst, the Ellsworth American wrote at the time, cost nothing for students who lived in towns without high schools and $6,500 a year—roughly $12,000 in today's dollars—for those who lived in towns with high schools but chose to attend the private school. Sullivan, where Platner lived with his mother, has a public high school, so Platner likely would have paid tuition.
It's unclear what prompted Platner's seemingly sudden departure from Hotchkiss to John Bapst. Neither the schools nor the Platner campaign responded to requests for comment.
Platner made a mark at John Bapst, winning an award for "Most Likely to Start a Revolution." A yearbook photo of the award shows a young Platner holding a piece of paper calling to "Free" Chechnya, Kosovo, and "Palestine." Platner also penned an op-ed for the Bangor Daily News that equated post-9/11 terrorist groups with "freedom fighters" and lamented that "every terrorist is portrayed as evil" in the media.
Hotchkiss, meanwhile, offers the kinds of world-class amenities expected of a school that earlier this month won the distinction of America's number one boarding school.
It operates a 287-acre farm a mile from campus and a 220,000 square foot "state-of-the-art" athletic facility featuring indoor batting cages, elevated indoor running tracks, squash courts, tennis courts, and two ice skating rinks—one Olympic-sized, while the other fits the dimensions of a National Hockey League rink.
The "Hotchkiss in the World" program provides study abroad opportunities in France, Italy, Spain, and the Bahamas. Hotchkiss hosts renowned international musicians, such as Siqing Lu, a celebrated Chinese violinist who performed at Hotchkiss earlier this month.
Platner's enrollment there stands in stark contrast to the mainstream media's "working class" portrayal of Platner, who before becoming an oyster farmer worked as a State Department contractor in Afghanistan for Constellis, formerly known as Blackwater.
