Stunning sign Trump LOSING party: White House crisis summit scrapped as Republicans knife president over $1.8 billion fund for J6 rioters. 1/2

16:56 EDT 21 May 2026,

The Daily Fake Mail is backing Trump’s enemies are are supposed to be allies

Donald Trump's iron grip on the Republican Party is crumbling in real time.

A high-stakes White House summit with Speaker Mike Johnson and top GOP leaders was abruptly canceled Thursday as the President's own party openly revolted against his $1.8 billion 'slush fund' for January 6rioters.

Johnson reportedly refused to sit down with Trump, in a striking act of rebellion by the President's most reliable congressional leader.(yeah Johnson that agreed with Bidan to keep the border open)

The meeting was meant to salvage the stalled $70 billion immigration enforcement bill the administration is counting on to fund its deportation operation through 2029.

Instead, senators filed out of a tense closed-door session with acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and effectively pronounced the bill dead for the week.

Even Trump's most loyal foot soldiers, including Alabama's Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, broke ranks to confront Blanche over the prospect of taxpayer money flowing to rioters who wounded police officers at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune pulled the plug on the votes by sending lawmakers home until June 1, missing Trump's deadline.

Thune told reporters the White House 'need to help with this issue, because we have a lot of members who are concerned.'

President Trump asked if he's losing Senate Republicans

Thune's public break is officially tied to the uproar over Trump's so-called 'slush fund' to reward political allies who claim the Biden Justice Department targeted them.

But privately, sources say the majority leader is seething over Trump's decision earlier this week to endorse Ken Paxton over Thune's close ally, John Cornyn, in the Texas Senate GOP primary.

When asked if he was losing control of Senate Republican in the Oval Office earlier Thursday, Trump responded: 'I really don't know. I can tell you I only do what's right.'

More than half of Senate Republicans privately raised concernsabout the fund in the meeting with Blanche, including many who have yet to speak out publicly, sources familiar with the session said.

Trump ally in trouble

This week, one of Trump’s billionaire Cabinet stars is facing fresh scrutiny over past links to Jeffrey Epstein – and our new poll reveals America's verdict on whether he should keep his job.

The fund had dropped like 'a bomb in the middle of a pretty well planned out reconciliation bill,' Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski told reporters.

'Do you really think that the American people like the president suing himself, basically, then making a deal that benefits himself with a broad immunity, for not just for IRS dealings but anything else?' said out-going Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy.

Utah Senator John Curtis said flatly: 'I don't like the fund at all.'

North Carolina's Thom Tillis branded it a 'payout pot for punks.'

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin told CNN: 'Somebody described it as a galactic blunder, and I think that's probably true.'

Earlier this week, the Justice Department resolved a $10 billion lawsuit the President had brought against the agency by establishing a $1.8 billion fund for his political allies.

It was created to issue formal apologies and monetary relief owed to claimants who were subjected to 'lawfare' under the Biden administration.

More than 1,600 January 6 defendants pardoned by Trump are eligible to receive payments from the fund.

Five commissioners will be appointed to oversee the fund and disburse payments to those seeking redress for alleged political persecution under Biden.

Trump will have the power to remove those commissioners.

Republican frustration is boiling over not just at the $1.8 billion payout, but also at the extraordinary side deal granting Trump and his sons immunity from IRS tax audits.==

Pennsylvania Representative Brian Fitzpatrick said he had 'never heard' of such an arrangement before, and vowed it would 'of course' be targeted in any legislative effort to kill the fund.

'You can't do that,' the Republican told reporters on Wednesday.

The GOP backlash over Trump's 'slush fund' comes alongside mounting Republican unease about his $1 billion request for White House security upgrades tied to his planned ballroom.

'I know my constituents, and I’m sure many other representatives’ constituents do not want taxpayer money going to a ballroom,' said Fitzpatrick.

(It’s pretty obvious the Senate is pissed Trump didn’t back corrupt Cornyn. This isn’t the first time the Senate has betrayed and tried to control the President. The the Daily Mail spouts their gossip and conspiracy theories.)

Trump yanked AI order after David Sacks raised industry concerns

The last-minute intervention by the president’s former AI czar came amid complaints from some tech companies, people told POLITICO.

(The Big Tech Implant in White House Revealed)

Thursday’s abrupt postponement of President Donald Trump’s much-awaited executive order on artificial intelligence came after former AI czar David Sacks voiced industry concerns about the measure to Trump, according to a senior White House official and two people familiar with the matter.

Sacks’ 11th hour intervention — and his arguments that the order could prove too onerous for the rapidly evolving AI industry — came even though he had been briefed about the directive in recent days, one of the people told POLITICO.The people were granted anonymity to discuss internal conversations.

The executive order, which the White House planned to release Thursday afternoon, would have set in motion a voluntary oversight system in which developers of advanced AI models could submit their products to a review by federal agencies before releasing them, POLITICO previously reported. It was meant to address concerns that advanced AI products from companies like Anthropic could unleash devastating cyberattacks and other havoc if they fell into the wrong hands.

But during a conversation with Trump, ==Sacks told the president that companies were already cooperating, and that having the federal government review models before their public release would slow down innovation and harm the U.S. in its AI race with China, the senior White House official and one of the other people said.=+

Sacks did not respond to a request for comment.

The Silicon Valley venture capitalist was not the sole obstacle, one of the people said, citing opposition from some other industry leaders.

The proposal had gotten a mixed reception in the tech industry: OpenAI, developer of one of the most advanced AI models, has been supportive of the contours of the order.

Chris Lehane, OpenAI’s top lobbyist, told reporters last week that the company believed in the importance of collaborating with the government on AI safety. Lehane said the company was focused on “the ability to innovate, but doing it in concert with the government in a way that actually really prioritizes that safe deployment.”

Trump offered few details Thursday about why he delayed the signing of the order. The people familiar with the issue said his staff had not only briefed tech executives on the order but had invited several leading Silicon Valley leaders to the ceremony.

“I didn’t like certain aspects of it,”Trump told reporters Thursday morning. “I think it gets in the way of — we’re leading China. We’re leading everybody, and I don’t want to do anything that’s going to get in the way of that.”
