Trump's game plan this whole time has been to say something that seems silly, or misspell a simple word, thus getting the MSM to repeat it over and over giving it exposure that it would not otherwise receive from a dishonest press corps.

If you pay attention to everything Mueller has done, this much is obvious. You don't charge someone with unrelated crimes to get them to flip unless you want uncorroborated testimony, i.e., "he said, she said" as your pivot point in court. You also don't put a man in solitary for bank fraud, a white-collar crime.
No, Manafort is the first to flip on the cabal, and the trial will ultimately prove that out.
Unlikely RR made a deal. If he is truly complicit, every case he touches is compromised. Even an exoneration of Trump would be worthless. Same for RM. [RR] clearly had a different meaning than everyone originally understood.
