Something I don't think most American's (certainly most normies) don't understand is the cultural differences when it comes to negotiating. For example a friend of mine that had made several large deals with companies from out side the US once told me that with Russians the way you knew you had reached a fair deal was that they would be red faced and swearing, up to that point they figured they were getting the better of you and so they were cool and collected.

Iranians (Persians) have a reputation for being very hard negotiators. They like playing word games and backing and filling, i.e. they agree one day and then come back later and say they didn't agree or change the parameters of what their agreement meant.
