Ukraine to intensify middle strike drone campaign as Fedorov unveils 'logistical lockdown' against Russia

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced on May 27 that Ukraine was launching a "logistical lockdown" program against Russia by intensifying its medium-range strike campaign.
"Our goal is to increase the pressure on the Russians in the rear even further and prevent them from carrying out active assault operations," the minister said on Telegram.
Ukrainian forces have significantly expanded their medium-range strike capabilities, regularly hitting Russian military targets 20 to 300 kilometers (10 to 180 miles) behind the front line, both inside Russia and in occupied Ukrainian territories.
Targets have included high-value air defense systems, command centers, and facilities belonging to Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB).
The Defense Ministry's new program aims to expand Ukraine's middle strike capacity and "systematically" degrade Russian capabilities at operational depth.
Fedorov added that Ukraine is gradually regaining the initiative on the front lines, while the "cost" of Russian advances continues to rise.
"While in October the enemy lost 67 soldiers per square kilometer of advance, in April that number had risen to 179," Fedorov said.
"Russia is suffering record losses: over 35,000 soldiers killed or seriously wounded every month — and we continue to pick up the pace."
Ukrainian forces have quadrupled the destruction of Russian logistics, warehouses, equipment, command posts, and supply routes through medium-range strikes, according to the minister.
"A clear pattern is already visible on the dashboard: the more Russian logistics are destroyed, the fewer assaults occur on the front line," Fedorov said, adding that this has also been made possible by the disabling of Starlink for Russian forces.
The Defense Ministry, together with the General Staff, has allocated an additional Hr 5 billion ($112.3 million) for a new program to procure medium-range strike capabilities.
The funds will be directed to brigades and units that have performed best under the state's "E-Points" system, which awards points for successfully completed front-line tasks and allows units to exchange them for technical equipment.
Fedorov said the first units have already received funding and begun procurement. The second phase of the program will involve centralized tenders to purchase large batches of medium-range strike systems, the minister added.
"As early as this summer, the results of the centralized procurement of medium-range strike capabilities will be felt on the front line," Fedorov said.
"The enemy will no longer feel safe, even at a great distance from the line of combat."

IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

NASA chief pulls back curtain on Trump UFO files after bizarre finds surface in buried fed records

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman said the Trump administration’s newly declassified UAP files are exposing years of strange aerial sightings that government agencies failed to seriously dig into — even if the records do not point to recovered alien remains or ships.
“What’s being surfaced isn’t crashed ships or alien bodies, but real unexplained phenomena,” Isaacman told Fox News Digital in an interview Friday.
The disclosures come after the Trump administration released two waves of declassified UAP files as part of a broader transparency effort directing agencies to search internal databases for decades-old reports involving unexplained aerial activity after years of public skepticism surrounding government secrecy and UFO investigations. Officials say additional file releases from agencies including the CIA could soon follow.
Isaacman framed the disclosures less as proof of extraterrestrial life than as a public test of unexplained evidence, saying modern cameras, military sensors and newly released government records are giving Americans more material to examine than ever before.
“Everybody’s got a camera phone, a doorbell camera. Every military aircraft flying has a million sensors,” Isaacman said. “You’re gonna pick up things. Pick up things that flew at a different angle, you know, across the lens that maybe if you had a better angle on, you’d be like, oh, that’s a balloon, or that might be a missile in a combat region. But because we caught it at an angle, it’s an unexplained phenomenon.”
Isaacman said the biggest surprise was not evidence of extraterrestrials, but how little attention federal agencies had historically given to unexplained aerial records, calling the renewed disclosure effort under the Trump administration “citizen science.”

“Government agencies really didn’t take this quite as seriously in the past until President Trump put out the tweet, basically giving an order to government agencies and going out and saying, look, this time you better go through the files, you better start searching your databases and bring things up,” said Isaacman.
“I think the president has really got government agencies now taking this seriously, to go look at the files and bring the data to light, and he’s putting it all out for everyone to analyze,” he added.
“This is citizen science right now. Take a look at our files, tell us what you think.”
The newly surfaced material includes infrared footage from 2023 that appears to show a U.S. F-16 shooting down a diamond-shaped object over Lake Huron, along with reports documenting unexplained aerial objects spotted near military operations in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Greece and other parts of the Middle East.
The records also include astronaut and NASA-related accounts from the Apollo and Gemini eras describing strange lights and unidentified objects observed in space.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the Trump administration is directing agencies to revisit long-buried UAP records in the name of transparency, while Isaacman said additional “big file tranches” from intelligence agencies could soon become public.
“There’s nothing I’m aware of in terms of alien bodies or spaceships,” Isaacman said. “But observations from decades past — from some of our adversaries and potentially some of our allies — essentially saying, ‘We saw something, we documented it, and we kept it buried in a file somewhere,’ are now being made public.”
The documents also contain testimony from intelligence officers and military pilots who said they could not explain encounters they witnessed during operations and training exercises.
Isaacman said he personally believes life likely exists elsewhere in the universe and argued that searching for it remains central to NASA’s long-term mission.
“I think if we go and bring samples back from Mars, you’ve got better than a 90% chance of former microbial life,” he said.
Isaacman also pointed to Saturn’s moon Titan and Jupiter’s moon Europa as locations scientists believe may contain conditions capable of supporting microbial life or biosignatures — chemical indicators associated with living organisms.
“Things that could indicate perhaps that there was microbial life there or some other form there of which it changes the whole equation from surely there is life out there somewhere to what if it’s everywhere,” said Isaacman.
Isaacman also argued that broader public disclosure could help reduce skepticism at a time when advances in artificial intelligence and digital manipulation are making it increasingly difficult for people to distinguish authentic footage from fabricated material.
“I would say that some of the most interesting data that NASA has provided as part of the UAP disclosure was taken on the surface of the moon from Apollo 12 and 17,” he said.
“You can’t be a moon landing denier and also believe that those photos captured unexplained phenomenon.”
Officials say additional UFO and UAP files will continue to be released in future batches as part of the administration’s ongoing disclosure effort.

The military later denied their claim, explaining that the object was merely a piece of a weather balloon. Decades of witness claims, secret documents, and mysterious metallic remains have kept the story of Roswell alive.
This has contributed to the city becoming a hotspot for UFO conspiracy theorists. In fact, the city’s very logo exploits this extraterrestrial background, something crypto fans cannot ignore, given recent Bitcoin transactions.
In the last year, Roswell has become the first U.S. municipality to officially establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve via donations. The very first seed contribution, deposited on April 29, 2025, included 3,050,323 satoshis, equaling 0.0305 $BTC and valued at around $2,906.
Anonymous subsequent contributions increased the balance to 0.173 $BTC. The donations appear as deposits from various Bitcoin addresses, including some associated with regular retail wallets and services like Robinhood.
The city’s Arkham profile features a customized avatar combining extraterrestrial imagery with the Roswell Cosmicon logo. The reception of the first contribution has been signed by the mayor pro tem, Juliana Halvorson, and Bitcoin enthusiast Guy Malone.
The Arkham dashboard shows that the reserve is maintained on the Bitcoin blockchain and that there have been no outflows.
The chart showing the evolution of balances shows a continuous increase since mid-2025, indicating that the total current market value is driven by Bitcoin price growth, not the municipality’s purchases.
Roswell passes landmark 10-year HODL ordinance
According to reports, the management of Roswell’s Bitcoin is regulated by a very restrictive municipal ordinance that prohibits quick selling of these digital currencies. All Bitcoin donations have to be held for at least 10 years.
After the fund exceeds $1 million in value, the city can spend no more than 21 percent of the funds annually. Such spending can take place once every five years.
Uses of the Bitcoin reserve are highly restricted to two purposes only—subsidizing the payment of elderly people’s water bills and financing disaster relief efforts.
The announcement has led to a great deal of discussion on crypto forums. The Arkham blog post presented a provocative question: “Is this the first $BTC in the possession of extraterrestrials?”

Another interesting point to note is that the irony of a city known for covering up a weather balloon as aliens is now amassing Bitcoins under the table.
CoinDelisi, a Turkish crypto analyst, found a way to spin the story into an amusing tale, pointing out that, even though these are donated coins, they’ve become memes in the crypto community.
Do UFOs – now officially termed Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena – exist?
The Department of Defense created the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2022 to research UAP in an evidence-based fashion.
The first volume of AARO’s Historical Record Report, published in 2024, states that, over 80 years of investigation by various government bodies, there is no empirical evidence to support the theory of an extraterrestrial origin of any UAP incident or of the United States’ recovery and reverse engineering of alien spacecraft.
On February 21, 2026, President Donald Trump issued a directive ordering various government agencies to declassify any documents regarding UAP/UFOs and other matters related to extraterrestrials.

UFO Researchers Upset Over Public Being Banned From Area 51 Viewpoint 26 Miles Away From The Base

The military has upset UFO researchers by banning the public from an Area 51 viewpoint 26 miles away from the secretive base, with one calling it “absolutely insane.”
The U.S. Air Force has seized approximately 22,987 acres of public land in Nevada surrounding Area 51, including one of the viewpoints at Tikaboo Peak and closed “to all forms of public access and entry” on the grounds that it is dangerous.
The Irish Sun reports that the Bureau of Land Management stated: “This closure is necessary to protect persons, property, public lands, resources, and to avoid conflict among public land users.”
The Bureau of Land Management also claimed that “the mountain slopes are too steep for safe foot traffic… And the rocky ground is dangerously unstable.”
“While no serious injuries or accidents have occurred in recent years, the prevailing conditions and increased foot traffic raise the risk of injury events,” the agency added.
Is there a more nefarious reason for the massive land seizure?
One UFO and Area 51 researcher who owns land near the border of the base, Anders Otteson, calls it a “clear-cut example of government corruption.”
“I believe there’s going to be accelerated testing of different projects at the base and they want to eliminate the risk of anyone getting a peek into the hangars,” he told The Irish Sun.
“The testing is likely a number of ‘secret’ aircraft projects that they don’t want to risk someone peaking into the hangar for.
“Tikaboo isn’t a great place to see test flights since those mainly happen at night and the distance of 26 miles is too far for any kind of reasonable night vision.”
What is the government trying to hide from the public?
“It’s possible that some projects there are going to require some activity during the day, which is what they’d be worried about from Tikaboo,” Otteson continued.
“It’s also important to note that the base has a surveillance camera on Tikaboo Peak and they have been known to cancel test flights in the past when they see someone up there.
“However, I don’t believe there is truly a risk to national security from people visiting these places on public land and taking photos/videos.”
Anders Otteson also rejects the claim that the government seized the land to protect the public.
“The ‘safety’ justification for the closure is complete nonsense. While yes, the terrain is rocky and remote, that would describe a large portion of the state of Nevada and the western United States, and this area is nowhere near the most dangerous.
In fact, the closure order even acknowledges that there has never been a serious injury here.”
He added in his most recent YouTube video: “You may as well just seize every mountain in Nevada by that logic.”
Coincidentally, the massive land seizure occurred around the same time as a series of earthquakes near Area 51.
United States Geological Survey data shows that during the last week of April, over 100 people reported at least 17 earthquakes near the top secret military base within the span of only 24 hours.

Congress: No More UFO Hearings, Demand Disclosure

The co-chair of the Congressional UAP Caucus, Representative Tim Burchett, said this week that Washington does not need more hearings on UFOs.

He added that the first hearing in 2023 lit the fuse, but subsequent hearings have produced diminishing returns.
According to Author Miguel Sancho, who appeared on NewsNation, the most credible item in the latest batch is an account from a senior US intelligence officer in 2025 who described seeing orange glowing orbs during a helicopter mission in the western United States.
The lights moved near the ground, formed a tee pattern in the sky, then disappeared. Sancho also raised the national security angle, noting that drone incursions at sensitive air bases including Langley are part of the same conversation.
Adding a different dimension, Father Richard D’Souza, the new director of the Vatican Observatory, also appeared on NewsNation with host Susan Lee. D’Souza, a Jesuit priest and astrophysicist appointed by Pope Leo the Fourteenth in September of 2025, urged both openness and the skepticism of science when approaching the US releases.
As noted in his interview, D’Souza cautioned against sensationalizing material before it has been examined by qualified experts.
His public restraint stands in contrast to what was happening behind the scenes just weeks earlier, when Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited the Pope ahead of the file release.
