First thing I thought of when I read the story of the GuideStones. I'm a former 'student' of the Rosicrucians, officially known as AMORC. After thinking this one thorough however I don't see the Rosicrusians as having anything to do with something like the GGS or Cabal. None of their teachings pointed me to Cabal type thinking. I've looked into claims others have made that AMORC is a secret arm of the Masons. Both have 33rd degree initiations but 3 and 33 are popular numbers of occult and cabal as well as other more legitimate(?) organizations.
