Summary of the 1968 France Car Crash

Mitt Romney was involved in a serious head‑on car crash on June 16, 1968, while serving as a Mormon missionary in the Bordeaux region of France. He was driving a Citroën DS carrying the French LDS mission president Duane Anderson, Anderson’s wife Leola, and other missionaries.
