Thank you Rooster, creator of Qnotables.com, for writing your novel, "Who, Me?, A story of ordinary obedience in a digital age" which I am thoroughly enjoying, now about a third of the way into it.

On page 131, I suddenly "got the joke" about the protagonist's name. I think. "Eli" – "el I"; the ending '-el' means, "of God", e.g., Daniel, Ezekiel, Gabriel.

It was used by DC Comics in Superman, and emphasized by hyphenating it apart from the rest of the name: Jor-el, Kal-el.

The protagonist is all of us: "el-I"; "of God, I" – as in, "I AM."

Well done.
