The Heysel Stadium disaster occurred on May 29, 1985, in Brussels, Belgium, just before the European Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus. The tragedy resulted in 39 deaths (mostly Italian Juventus fans) and 600 injuries after a collapse of a dilapidated concrete wall during a crush caused by aggression from Liverpool fans.
Consequences included a five-year ban for all English clubs from European competition (Liverpool banned for six years) and criminal convictions for 14 Liverpool fans and Belgian security officials.
Heysel was nothing compared to Paris.
Take the UCL trophy off PSG and ban them for 6 years.
