I was just thinking about that kids show today, and was wondering if one man in each century was given the power to control time, and Captain 11 was the 11th person to receive that power; then who was the original Captain?

So, Captain 11 must actually come from the 11th century. That means Captain 1 (the first man to receive that power came from the 1st Century.
The only one I could think of who could possibly fit that narrative would be Jesus Christ and He received that power to control time when He died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead.
