After listening to countless stories of the A10 in close combat situations, I have come to the conclusion, that I feel, if anyone wants to retire the A10, it is because they want to see America lose. This plane has the best record, has completed missions where other fast jets fail, and is the greatest psychological support for ground troops due to it's loitering, resilience, and sheer brute force that it delivers. These pilots can maneuver in hostile theaters, stay the course, and see changes in real time while still being fast enough to avert dangers. We should be giving it upgrades or making newer versions, and modernizing it with computerized helmets.
