Amen. I think one of the biggest obstacles for the US Army Navy combo today is mechanized deployments. We need to solve this asap. With the threat of drones, ballistic, and hypersonics today, it makes it very difficult to get those assets on shore and online, in a safe manner. Couple that with the lack of political will from partnering countries, and we are left with only limited air campaigns and loitering. Even the USS Boxer can only put 2 tanks at a time, on shore and online. What we need is a Navy vessel that is strictly used as a rapid deployed bridge, that can stretch out at least 1/4 mile from shore that would go ahead of larger ships that can carry many heavy assets, thus delivering at least 50 - 100 assets at a time. What do you think?
