UN peacekeeper killed, two wounded in Hezbollah shelling in Lebanon
A Serbian UN peacekeeper in Lebanon died on Thursday from wounds sustained when mortar shells hit his position near Marjayoun in southeastern Lebanon late the previous night, the seventh peacekeeper killed in the country since March.
The UN said two other peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) were wounded in the incident, one from El Salvador and the other from Spain.
Hostilities between the pro-Iran Hezbollah movement and Israel reignited in Lebanon on March 2.

Israel to continue operations in Lebanon for now despite ceasefire, Katz
Israel will continue its operations on the ground in southern Lebanon for the time being, and Lebanese residents forced from their homes by Israel would not be able to return, Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Thursday.
In a statement, Katz said troops would remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon, including in the area of Beaufort Castle, a 900-year-old fortress captured by Israel on Saturday.
He said Israel would continue to "dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the area" while Israel had "freedom of action, backed by the United States, to strike in Beirut in response to attacks on Israeli communities and territory."

An informed military official stated that enemy footage purporting to show an Iranian drone striking Kuwait International Airport is a fabricated staging, characterizing the reports as a psychological warfare campaign and a false-flag operation.
The official noted that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force launched its drones at U.S. targets in Kuwait during the middle of the night, with the impacts also occurring overnight.
In contrast, the official pointed out that the footage broadcast by foreign media clearly shows broad daylight.
The military official further specified that the intended U.S. military targets for the IRGC drones were located more than 40 kilometers away from the civilian Kuwait airport, adding that a targeting error of that magnitude is impossible.

The system combines the Defender underwater vehicle, a Viper attachment mechanism that secures an explosive charge directly to a mine, and the Tornado firing system used to detonate the charge from a safe distance.
Royal Navy officials said it is particularly effective against buoyant mines suspended just below the surface, where they can detonate when struck by passing ships.
“A fundamental principle of Explosive Ordnance Disposal is to use remote means whenever possible, so if we have this tech, we need to use it,” Lieutenant Commander James Carpenter, commanding officer of Delta Squadron, said in a Royal Navy statement.

While diplomats continue negotiating the terms of a broader agreement, military planners are increasingly focused on the next challenge: convincing shipowners, insurers, and energy traders that the world’s most important energy corridor is safe for business again.

Washington Archbishop Cardinal Robert McElroy on June 3 removed a prominent priest from his role as an archdiocesan exorcist after the priest made remarks linking UFOs to demonic activity.
Monsignor Stephen Rossetti was “removed … as an exorcist of the Archdiocese of Washington,” McElroy said in a statement posted to the archdioceseʼs website. Rossetti is a priest of the Diocese of Syracuse, New York, the statement noted.
In addition to Msgr. Rossettiʼs removal, Cardinal McElroy said the archdiocese had “ended all affiliation between the archdiocese and the Saint Michael Center for Spiritual Renewal located in Washington, D.C.”
Led by Msgr. Rossetti, the St. Michael Center is a Catholic nonprofit that “conducts spiritual education workshops and trains clergy, religious, and laity,” according to its website.
Msgr. Rossetti had on May 29 posted a video to YouTube in which the exorcist had expressed his personal belief that “many, if not most, [UFO] sightings are, in fact, demons.”
Such entities, he said in the video, “can do things that we canʼt do, such [as] the speed and all sorts of things that human beings canʼt do.”
Cardinal McElroy in his statement said Msgr. Rossettiʼs remarks “gravely undermine the Church’s very precise teaching on the devil, demons and exorcism.”
The cardinal also criticized the St. Michael Centerʼs “recent use of social media,” though the statement did not offer any specifics beyond that.
In a statement after the news broke, Msgr. Rossetti said he was “saddened” by the archdioceseʼs decision.
“I ask forgiveness for any ways that I have not been faithful to the teachings of the Church’s Magisterium, particularly in the cited video on ‘aliens and the demonic’,” he said.
“I believe it is of the utmost importance to be obedient to the Church and I will continue to endeavor to subject all that I do and the Center to be thus obedient,” he continued, adding: “Also, I will continue to encourage all to do so as well.”
“I am grateful for 19 years of ministering in the Archdiocese of Washington as its exorcist and I thank the Archdiocese for its support and blessing all these years,” the statement continued.
“We will remember the Cardinal and all in [the archdiocese] in our prayers for its important ministry.” The St. Michael Center “plans to continue its ministry elsewhere,” Msgr. Rossetti said.
As of June 3, the video that apparently resulted in Msgr. Rossettiʼs dismissal had been marked private on YouTube.

Voices Say UFO Disclosure Cannot Be Stopped Now

Steven Spielberg, the director who shaped how the public imagines alien contact, told AP News he has changed his mind. He has long described himself as a believer in life elsewhere, but said he would never claim that life from out there had come here until he saw it himself.
According to Spielberg, the 2017 Navy footage and the 2023 congressional testimony from David Grusch, Commander David Fravor, and Ryan Graves moved him.
He called the evidence circumstantial but, in his view, overwhelming, and when asked how disclosure would change us, he said he believes it would be for the better.
Former Pentagon official Lue Elizondo, who once led the program known AATIP, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, gave a new interview to Liberation Times.
Elizondo said there is no going back from disclosure now, and for the first time confirmed publicly that he is on the autism spectrum, which he said shapes the clear moral terms in which he views the issue.
He argued the real shock may not be that the craft are real, but what they reveal about us, a moment he described using the term ontological shock. Asked whether he has any knowledge of a non-human presence on the Moon, Elizondo answered with a single word, yes.
He referenced classified sources he could not detail and connected the claim to recently released NASA recordings and photos describing odd encounters during the Apollo missions.
He also said scientists inside his own organization had concluded that something interfered with human evolution far back in the past, though he would not define what that meant.
On the people still holding secrets, Elizondo said anyone inside a so-called legacy program needs protection before they will speak, and used one word, amnesty.
Reference to a recent event in Dallas, he appeared with Representative Eric Burlison of Missouri, who told the audience a senior White House official had discussed possible amnesty for UAP whistleblowers and floated a 60 day window to come forward.
Elizondo also noted that China publicly acknowledged its own UAP program back in 2021, using artificial intelligence to sort a rising volume of sightings, and warned the United States risks letting another nation make the announcement first.
Speaking to YMH Studios, Jeremy Corbell pointed to recent sworn testimony from a CIA officer named James Erdman III, who according to Corbell told Congress the agency illegally spied on UAP whistleblowers, including people Corbell says he personally escorted into a review effort under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, then led by Tulsi Gabbard.
Corbell believes Gabbard herself was misled, and pointed to claims from a man named Matthew Brown about a program that uses artificial intelligence to strip UAP footage from intelligence feeds.
Corbell said a single file release is only the start, and that the harder questions about reverse engineering, biologics, and possible agreements come next.
All of it comes ahead of June 9, when Grusch will join Burlison, Anna Paulina Luna, Tim Burchett, and Jared Moskowitz on the Capitol steps to call on President Trump and Congress to release classified files and pass the UAP Disclosure Act.

The Great Pyramid has been called a tomb, a wonder of engineering, and the subject of countless conspiracy theories. Now, it is being called a potential extraterrestrial communication device.
A new and highly controversial study suggests Egypt's Great Pyramid may have been designed as a kind of cosmic beacon, helping communicate Earth's location to intelligent civilizations elsewhere in the universe.
Before anyone starts packing for Area 51, note that the idea is entirely theoretical and has not been peer-reviewed. Let's unpack it all.
The theory starts with a surprisingly familiar number
The argument comes from Iranian researcher Jalal Jafari, who believes the Great Pyramid's location may contain a hidden message. The pyramid sits at approximately 29.979234° north latitude.
Why does that matter? Because the speed of light is 299,792,458 meters per second.
According to Jafari, the similarity between those numbers is too close to ignore.
He argues the pyramid's coordinates may have been intentionally designed to encode scientific information about Earth in a way that any advanced civilization familiar with mathematics and physics could recognize.
In other words, a giant stone GPS marker for the planet.
The Geek Reality Check
As mind-bending as that number match sounds, it hits a massive historical wall – the meter is a modern invention. The French Academy of Sciences didn't define the meter until 1791, while the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids using cubits.
Because the speed of light only matches the Giza coordinate when measured in modern metric units, the connection is almost certainly a cosmic coincidence rather than an alien design.
Still, Jafari argues there might be more to these monuments than meets the eye.
More than just a tomb?
Mainstream archaeology has long held that the pyramids served as monumental tombs for Egyptian pharaohs.
That remains the accepted explanation. Jafari himself isn't arguing the pyramids weren't important burial monuments. Instead, he suggests they may have served an additional purpose.
His theory proposes that the structures could have been part of an encoded system designed to communicate information about Earth's position, planetary movement, mathematical constants, and astronomical relationships.
The idea is that geometry itself could act as a universal language.
The researcher also points to the alignment of the three famous pyramids on the Giza Plateau. The pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure are arranged with remarkable precision.
According to Jafari, that level of accuracy demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of astronomy and geometry among the ancient Egyptians.
If they possessed that knowledge, he argues, creating a structure that encoded information about Earth might not have been impossible.
The strangest part of the theory
The most ambitious claim Jafari makes involves gravity. The scientist suggests the Great Pyramid's enormous mass could theoretically act as part of a gravitational signaling system while Earth moves through space.

It's a fascinating idea.
It's also where many physicists begin raising their eyebrows. There is currently no known technology from ancient Egypt that could have transmitted information across interstellar distances.
Critics also note that finding meaningful patterns in numbers can sometimes be misleading. Just because two values look similar doesn't necessarily mean they were intentionally connected.

This isn't the first pyramid-space theory
The Great Pyramid has attracted cosmic theories for decades. In the 1980s, researcher Robert Bauval proposed the famous Orion Correlation Theory.
The idea suggested that the three pyramids at Giza were intentionally arranged to mirror the stars of Orion's Belt.
The theory became hugely popular in documentaries and books. Archaeologists, however, argued there was no evidence supporting the claim and said people were simply seeing patterns where none existed.
This new theory definitely still calls for more data. But we have a researcher asking whether one of humanity's most famous structures might contain a mathematical message hidden in plain sight.
Whether that is evidence of ancient cosmic communication or simply an extraordinary coincidence remains very much up for debate.
