Here is a remedy that I can actually post here. Everyone needs sleep, but sleeping is'nt always convenient at times. To combat tiredness, we first must analyze what is causing our tiredness and why the body must sleep. Our activities require oxygen more and more as we exert ourselves mentally and physically. The body needs to shutdown from the over use of oxygen, which is why when we sleep, our breaths in-between the next breath, becomes prolonged. What we are actually doing, is reducing oxygen intake, and allowing the body to scrub out the excess oxygen that has not been equalized. Sleep is inevitable but with this in mind, there are exercises that can be done to give you those few extra minutes or hours that are needed to sustain activities. Try this when you are tired, lean forward while sitting and place elbows on legs, then cover your nose and mouth and re-breath your own air. You can even force a discreet yawn during this, which is even more beneficial, to equalizing the oxygen. This will give your body a short rest, and help you sustain your wakefulness for a duration.
