The conceptual design of AI as it exists assumes that intelligence is a discrete unit (monad theory), while human intelligence is naturally interconnected with everything else that exists. This gives machine AI a hard limit to it's potential, while human intelligence can scale "infinitely" when people attempt to put it in a box.
