If USA has enough wealth to provide food and housing to every citizen, you will no longer be able to force proud slaves to be dedicated hard workers under threat of starvation or poverty. Just like Christianity lost it's prominence when you could no longer burn women and children alive for heresy and blasphemy, you will no longer be able to make unproductive slaves to take part in exploiting one another or in any way participate in the matrix. Your paradigms are crumbling, your Overton windows shattered. The slaves will have more time on their hands and will have time to contemplate their slavery. You will no longer be capable of controlling their minds. That is what was meant by golden age.
