CHP: Unlicensed big rig driver crashed on Interstate 5 near Willows
WILLOWS, Calif. - UPDATE 8:30 A.M. -The Willows CHP said the driver of the crashed big rig was unlicensed. The driver was taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico to be treated for minor injuries.
ORIGINAL STORY:
A big rig carrying U.S. mailoverturned on northbound Interstate 5 in Glenn County, shutting down the highway for several hours early Thursday morning. The crash happened at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on northbound Interstate 5 just south of County Road 68, south of Willows.
The CHP reported the mail truck landed on its side. The northbound lanes were fully closed for about three hours.
