Every war is scripted. The only thing that isn't is the details of the men fighting and dying on the battlefield.
Their letters and horrific stories die with them for the most part and the scribers of said wars get their names in lights and history books for ages to come and live long full lives.
It is far worse than just irony.

Like the friend who everyone thinks is quiet and unassuming but you know them as the one who schemes and gets you into trouble while leaving you out to dry,
and then always has a reason it went the way it did as well as a plan to hold on to your 'valued friendship' only to do it once more.
Time to end dysfunctional relationships because many and much more are severely effected by it.
