ALERT: NFL war hero Pat Tillman’s brother pleaded guilty to firebombing a post office in California.

Richard Tillman pled guilty after purchasing firelogs and lighter fluid, then drove his car through the door of a post office in San Jose, and then spread the lighter fluid and eeing the scene.

The fire completely destroyed the post office, and it has not reopened since the incident.

Judge Edward J. Davila sentenced Tillman to 5 years in prison, a 3-year period of supervised release, and ordered Tillman to pay more than $2 million in restitution to the US Postal Service.

In Tillman’s since-deleted YouTube page, he appeared to outline a plot to take down the government, and his family has said he suffers from “severe mental illness.”

Australia lowers Middle East travel warnings after US-Iran deal

Australia loweredits travel advisories for several Middle Eastern countriesfollowing a US-Iran interim agreement aimed at de-escalating the regional conflict, Reuters reported.

The government downgraded warnings for Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates from “do not travel” to “reconsider your need to travel,” Foreign Minister Penny Wong said.

Clearing mines from Strait of Hormuz would be technically difficult - CNN

A US expert warned on Tuesday that removing mines from the Strait of Hormuz would be a complex and technically challenging operation, following reports that Iran may be required under a US-Iran memorandum of understanding to clear the waterway.

CNN reported that White House talking points on the draft agreement state Iran would be responsible for de-mining the strategic shipping route. A senior US official said operations in the strait were expected to “return to normal pretty quickly, definitely within 30 days” once Iran commits to removing the mines.

Scott Savitz of the RAND Corporation said mine clearance is far more difficult than deployment, calling it “painstaking” and “a game of intense precision,” and questioning Iran’s ability to carry it out effectively without external assistance.

Brazil’s top court convicts son of former President Bolsonaro for coercion

SAO PAULO (AP) — Brazil’s Supreme Court convicted former lawmaker Eduardo Bolsonaro on Tuesday for coercion related to the trial that last year sentenced his father and ex- President Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years in prison for a coup attempt.

The court sentenced him to four years and two months in prison. All five justices considering the case agreed he illegally interfered by lobbying the U.S. government to threaten Brazilian officials to stop the trial.

Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who also oversaw the former president’s coup attempt case, said Eduardo Bolsonaro’s job as a federal lawmaker “is not to lobby overseas against his own country.” De Moraes and his wife were sanctioned by the U.S. government in July last year.

Lawyers for Eduardo Bolsonaro disputed the verdict, saying there was not enough evidence to convict him. The former lawmaker has lived in Texas since February 2025.

U.S. President Donald Trump slapped Brazil with a 50% tariff last year in protest of Jair Bolsonaro ‘s prosecution for trying to overturn his electoral defeat to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in 2022.

Trump’s relations with Lula seem to have improved in early May, when the Brazilian leader visited the White House, but then in June the U.S. government once again proposed 25% tariffs on imports from Brazil, claiming the world’s 10th-biggest economy engages in unreasonable trade practices.

Lula said that during his visit to Washington in early May, he handed Trump documents showing that the U.S. has a trade surplus with Brazil.

Vice President JD Vance admitted that he is a Jeffrey Epstein conspiracy theorist as he stepped into the lion’s den of The View on Tuesday morning.

In a particularly contentious moment during his conversation with View panelists Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin,Vance was asked about his role in the release of files pertaining to the late sex trafficker.=

It began as Hostin asked Vance about a New York Times report that places Vance in the middle of conversations within the Trump administration grappling over what to do about the Epstein files.

“The report says you even floated having Tucker Carlson interview Ghislaine Maxwell to clear the president’s name,” Hostin said. “But you were rebuffed by your people. Why?”

Vance responded by urging the panelists not to believe everything they read, “whether it’s a right-leaning paper or a left-leaning paper.”

He added: “Well, there are things that are true, things that are false, and things that are totally missing context.”

As Hostin pressed Vance over what was true, he admitted he’s an Epstein conspiracy theorist.

“Here’s what I’ll say: So, number one, I am frankly kind of a conspiracy theory on the Epstein stuff,” Vance said. “And that story says that that’s one of the things that’s true is that some people called me a conspiracy theory on the Epstein stuff.”

She thinks I’m a conspiracy theorist on the Epstein stuff because I think that it’s crazy that you have this guy who is clearly a sex predator, who is hanging out with a lot of very wealthy and powerful people. That really bothered me. I don’t know what’s there, of course. Nobody knows exactly what happened unless you were there. But that really bothered me. And I wanted to have full transparency. But what I disagree with is the idea that the White House wasn’t committed to full transparency. You have to remember like I was inside the room when some of these decisions were made. The Epstein files Transparency Act, the one that the president signed, The one that led to all these files that you were seeing these emails — Sorry, Joy, I do have to defend my boss. I know you guys don’t always appreciate this. One of the things you see in the Epstein emails is that Epstein hated Donald Trump. And that Donald Trump literally reported Jeffrey Epstein to the police. That’s one of the things that came out of these files.

ANNA NAVARRO: They were best friends for about decade. And remember, he signed that Transparency Act under duress when some Republican women, congresswomen like Lauren Boebert, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, did not give into his pressure of not signing. He brought Lauren Boebert into the Situation Room to pressure her into caving on not voting for that bill.

VANCE: So let me respond to that.

HOSTIN: That’s all true.

VANCE: Let me respond to that. Number one is, yes, Donald Trump said this. He knew Jeffrey Epstein in the 1980s. He threw Epstein out of his club when he found out he was a creep and reported him to the police. That’s something that the media often misses when it reports this story. They tell the fact they knew each other in the 80s, which the president himself admits. They ignore the fact that he narced on ’em to the police and led ultimately to Jeffrey Epstein’s downfall. To that point, Ana, you know the Republican party-

HOSTIN: I don’t know if that led to his downfall.

VANCE: Well, it’s one of the things that led to a law enforcement investigation.

NAVARRO: It was allegedly over a real estate deal they got into a fight over. Let’s be truthful and transparent. They didn’t just know each other. They didn’t just know each other. They were incredibly close friends.

VANCE: He reported him to the police. That is objectively true. But Ana made another point. Whoopi, if I may, because Ana made an important point/ This question about did Donald Trump release these files only under duress from Republicans? You know the Republican party probably better than I do. The idea that Donald Trump runs around afraid of Republican congressmen as opposed to the other way around, is kind of crazy. Because the Republicans control the house and senate, particularly the senate, you need the Republican sign-off. What the president did — I will say this. Again, I was in there in the meetings. He was very frustrated that the Democrats were making this about him when he is like, I threw the guy out of my club. I’m the guy who reported him to the police or one of the people who reported him to the police. The president was frustrated about that. Absolutely. But he eventually came to say, “You know what, let’s get everything out there. Let’s have this out in the public. He actually called the senators. I was there. He called the senators and said, “Pass this bill. I will sign it” and that was it.

Qatar brings LNG tankers back toward Middle East - Bloomberg

Qatar has begun bringing some of its liquefied natural gas tankers back toward the Middle East as it prepares to ramp up exports once the Strait of Hormuz reopens under a US-Iran deal, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing ship-tracking data.

At least four empty LNG vessels owned by Qatar recently began heading back toward the region after idling or sailing in another direction, while another Qatar-chartered ship is also heading there, the report said.

The tankers are signaling Ras Laffan, the world’s largest LNG export plant in Qatar, as their next destination.

Four other Qatar-linked tankers are idling in the Gulf of Oman andcould try to pass through Hormuz into the Persian Gulf, Bloomberg reported. It said Qatar has not brought an empty vessel into the Persian Gulf since the war began in February.

Iran haslaunched multiple drones toward commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz since the United States and Iran signed a memorandum of understandingon Sunday, according to a US official, NBC News reported on Tuesday.

The official said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been carrying out repeated drone launches targeting shipping lanesin the strategic waterway. US forces have intercepted the drones before they could threaten commercial or military vessels, the report said.

According to NBC News, the official addedthat the IRGC has launched multiple drones each night since the agreement was signed, and that the US military continues to coordinate with commercial shipping operators to support safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
