Did you read my suggestion on bridge boats, that can convert to ramps that have amphibious hovercraft skirts to drag out the bridge, along side power from the ship? This would be a craft that is designed to do one thing only, act as a bridge for heavy equipment and act as a ramp for other vessels to drop off payloads. USS Boxers are only capable of deploying two tanks at most, whereas a bridge would allow a stream of heavy equipment. Very challenging design, but we may need this capability in the future due to allies political will to allow us to use their country and bases as a launching point. The US could use at least four of these for dispersion. ThankQ for your attention to this matter.

Watch @17:43 the loading process to the hovercraft inside an LHA, consider the tie downs, time to guide and place. Now consider that if these bridge boats were created, keeping daisy chaining in mind where you can have a series of boats forming a bridge, how deployments can be facilitated. Less equipment to maintain, less prep time, less moving parts, streams of heavy cargo and armor, and less vulnerabilities. Once a the bridge was deployed, you could have columns ready to go moving right in. Unchain and let loose hell on earth. Also, returning to base will also be facilitated equally.
