Drones disrupt operations at Sochi airport
17.06.2026 17:17
Hundreds of passengers have been stranded at the airport in the Russian city of Sochi due to massive flight delays caused by drone attacks on Russia's Krasnodar region.
According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel ASTRA stated this in a post.
Passengers are currently unable to depart from the airports in Sochi and Krasnodar, with many waiting for their flights for several hours and, in some cases, for more than a day.
Travelers themselves have been reporting the situation on social media.
Passengers stranded in Sochi Airport's terminals have also had to periodically leave waiting areas because of air raid alerts.
According to ASTRA contributors, even boarding an aircraft does not necessarily mean that passengers' difficulties are over.
As Ukrinform previously reported, drone attacks have severely disrupted operations at Sochi Airport, leaving thousands of passengers unable to return home since Friday.

US, Iran could sign ceasefire deal as soon as tonight to open Strait of Hormuz - Axios
If the deal is signed, it would mean the US would release the full text of the agreement, and the parts of the deal regarding the Strait of Hormuz would take immediate effect.
The US, Iran, and mediating parties are discussing bumping up the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as early as Wednesday, according to an Axios report.
The parties are set to sign the MoU into effect on Friday. However, one mediating diplomat and a second source familiar with the talks told Axios that the deal could be signed electronically by Wednesday evening.
If the deal is signed, it would mean the US would release the full text of the agreement, and the parts of the deal regarding the Strait of Hormuz would take immediate effect.
The diplomatic source told Axios that the parties accelerated the timetable for signing the MoU to open the strait sooner than Friday, given that both the US and Iran had agreed on the issue.

Hezbollah chief: Lebanon-Israel talks should lead to 'reciprocal security'
Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem said on Wednesday that the "ceiling" to be reached in negotiations between Lebanon and Israel was a situation of "reciprocal security."
In a televised address, Qassem said the group rejects pilot zones agreed in the US-brokered talks between Lebanon and Israel.

Hezbollah MP claims delegations to Turkey promised to ‘support the resistance’ in Lebanon
Hezbollah sources claim Turkey maintains engagement with the group and supports its continued presence in Lebanon, raising questions over Ankara’s regional posture.

Ankara gave Hezbollah delegations assurances that Turkey supported the Iran-backed group’s continued role in Lebanon, and that Damascus had no plans to take action against the terrorist organization, Lebanese Member of Parliament Ali Fayyad told the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen last week.
The Hezbollah politician’s comments came a week before US President Donald Trump told Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that Syria should take over the role of removing the Hezbollah threat, "If Israel can't do the job without killing everyone else.”
"I suggested to Israel to let Syria take care of Hezbollah, because to be honest with you, I think they'd do a better job of doing it,” Trump told the emir.

Iran deal reportedly includes $300 billion investment fund, majority already committed
The new fund is a private investment vehicle, not a reconstruction or reparations program and will not include any government money or grants, the source said.
A $300 billion private fund designed to trigger investment into Iran is outlined in the US-Iran framework agreement and more than half that sum has already been committed, a source with direct knowledge of the deal told Reuters.
The fund is designed to give both sides an economic incentive to conclude a final deal to end the war, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the plan has not yet been announced as Washington and Tehran prepare to sign on Friday.
The fund's existence has been previously reported but Reuters is revealing for the first time that more than half of the amount has already been committed and that it will be comprised entirely of private-sector funds.

Iranian tankers recently sailed through Strait of Hormuz despite US blockade
Other vessels are also on the move, with five Iranian-flagged dry bulk and container ships that were anchored off Malaysia's coast for weeks now sailing back towards Iran, UANI analysis showed.
While US President Donald Trump has recently hailed the resumption of oil flows from Gulf allies, Iran, too, appears to be gearing up to resume exports and trading.
At least three tankers carrying some five million barrels of Iranian oil have sailed through the US naval blockade this week, shipping data shows, despite the US military saying its operations against Iran-linked shipping will stay in place until Friday.
The oil market has focused on a deal to end the Iran war which Trump announced on June 14 and is scheduled to be signed on Friday in Switzerland.
"The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Sunday. "Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!"

Iranian regime likely to rebuild military with funds released by MoU, ISW assesses
Though Trump denied reports of a $300 billion fund slated for Iran, ISW noted that Iranian officials have already promised that funds set to be released as part of the deal would be used to rebuild.
The economic relief granted to Iran under the reported terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would likely allow the Islamic regime to immediately reconstitute its military powers, according to an assessment published by the American think tank the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) on Tuesday.
Though US President Donald Trump denied reports of a $300 billion fund slated for Iran in comments on the sidelines of the G7 summit on Wednesday, ISW noted that Iranian officials have already promised that funds set to be released as part of the deal would be used to rebuild its missile and drone programs.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei told Iranian press in May, “I think even the stones of Mina would be moved to tears upon hearing such absurd statements from American officials, who, after nearly 73 years of hostile actions against the Iranian people, still claim to care about them and pretend to be upset because, in their view, Iran’s money has been spent on missiles and drones…
“Of course, we spend part of Iran’s money on missiles and drones, because if we did not, our enemies would have been able to achieve their ambitions, as we have repeatedly seen over the past few months…”

IDF kills Hamas, PIJ commanders who infiltrated Israel on October 7
IDF troops killed two terrorists on Saturday, one of them being a commander who participated in the October 7 massacres and held hostages, the military said on Wednesday.
Hamas platoon commander Muhammad Sa’id Ahmad Nimrouti, who held numerous hostages in tunnels according to the military, was eliminated in a strike in southern Gaza, the statement said.
Alongside him, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) platoon commander Mu’awiya Suleiman Saqr Ayadi, who infiltrated Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7, was eliminated in central Gaza, the military said.
Both terrorists were posing a direct threat to soldiers, the IDF said, and specifically, Ayadi was planting explosives. Both were said to have launched attacks during the course of the war, and increasingly so during the last weeks.

US VP Vance says MoU text will be out by end of the week
Vice President JD Vance said that the US will release the text of the MoU by Saturday. "In short, what it does is it opens the Strait of Hormuz immediately,” Vance said.
“It also provides a framework whereby if the Iranians give us what we need, on stopping the funding of terrorism, on no longer pursuing a nuclear weapon, then they can get some benefits, be reinvited into the world economy.”
Vance noted that US President Donald Trump was trying to incentivize Iran to not try and rebuild its nuclear program.
This comes after Trump slammed the leaked text at the G7 summit, saying that the reports about the MoU's content were false.

Counterterrorism expert warns alleged drone plot reflects emerging '3D security' threat
Tuesday, June 16, 2026 8:26PM
Two men from Riverside County were arrested in connection with an alleged plot targeting President Donald Trump's UFC cage-fighting show at the White House this past weekend, Eyewitness News has learned.
A federal criminal complaint outlines what authorities describe as a chilling plan: using explosive laden drones to trigger panic at the UFC White House event, then opening fire on the crowd as people ran for safety.
Authorities say five people have been arrested so far.
A federal source who works in security and crisis management told Eyewitness News that his gravest concern is what he called "multi-pronged attacks." He said that is exactly what the five accused men were allegedly planning.
According to the complaint, Bryan Omar Roa, 24, of Calimesa, and Michael Alan Thomas, 32, of Pinon Hills, were part of a plot to attack the event with drones carrying explosives.
The complaint reads "…The goal of detonating the unmanned aircraft was to force the crowd attending the UFC event and other high value targets ('HVTs') to evacuate to the south."
It continues: "…The plan was then for the conspirators to act as snipers…"
"The seriousness of this is one of the most conspiratorial, dangerous plots that I have seen," said Mike Downing, who used to lead the Los Angeles Police Department's counterterrorism and special operations bureau.
Downing said he fears the country is entering a new era of what he calls "3D security problems," meaning plots are organized on social media and executed both on the ground and air using drones.
"They all have to be combined, and I would say that we don't really think about that in terms of developing security plans," he said.
The complaint also highlights how inexpensive the technology can be. One defendant allegedly said, "$1300 gets us the drones and the charges. Yes we should all pitch in and we need it ASAP…"
With Los Angeles serving as a host city for the World Cup, the FBI's L.A. Field Office told 7 On Your Side Investigates that there is a "no tolerance" policy for drones flying in temporary no-fly zones.
Officials said 28 drones have been seized near SoFi Stadium and the Coliseum since Friday.
The FBI said those drones were not connected to any plot but were simply flying in restricted airspace. The agency said it has deployed drone detection and drone mitigation technology in every World Cup host city.

More Details on the UAP Science Advisory Council
June 17, 2026
Below is a set of questions that I was asked today about my new leadership position regarding the UAP Science Advisory Council.
-
Please describe this new council’s ultimate aims and overarching responsibility.
In support of President Trump’s directive on UAP transparency, I was tasked by the White House, the Pentagon’s All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), the FBI, and the Intelligence Community, to assemble a “UAP Science Advisory Council”. As of now, the council includes the following members along with their helpful expertise:
Prof. Carol Cleland: anomaly identification; Dr. Richard Cloete: data analysis and AI tools; Dr. Omer Eldadi: data management, AI, and human psychology; Dr. Tim Gallaudet: oceanography; Ross Howard: communication; Dr. Kevin Knuth: physics and instrumentation; Ben Lamm: oceanography and biology; Dr. Devesh Nandal: numerical analysis and astrophysics; Prof. Garry Nolan: molecular biology and materials science; Dr. Michael Shermer: the study of anomalies; Dr. Peter Skafish: anthropology; Prof. Matthew Szydagis: instrumentation and data collection; and Dr. Jennice Vilhauer: quantitative psychology.
This constitutes an amazing A-team with exceptional scientists. Including at least one member with a skeptical perspective (or a designated “devil’s advocate”) in every committee is highly important.
The skeptic prevents blind spots, reduces cognitive biases, and actively protects groups from disastrous decision-making as a result of groupthink. The goal of the council is to advise the U.S. government on how to resolve the nature of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).
So far, there were three batches of UAP files released on May 8, May 22, and June 12, 2026. The latest UAP file release includes a new report (accessible here) dated June 5, 2026, signed by Dr. Jon Kosloski — AARO’s director.
The report mentions that during two days in October 2023 law enforcement officials noticed anomalous phenomena including an orange “mother” orb launching smaller red orbs. About 40% of the reported phenomena lack a reasonable explanation and remain unresolved.
The civil duty of scientists like myself is to serve the U.S. government by interpreting existing data or recommending how to get new data that would resolve the nature of UAPs.
This is a detective story that can be resolved with better data. All the data shared with the council will be unclassified.
The council will report to a higher-level UAP Governance Board that aims to provide guidance, recommendations and coordination at the interagency level, bringing together military, law enforcement, the Intelligence Community, and other civilian agencies.
The mission of the UAP Governing Board is to serve as an interagency body that can use each member’s capabilities and unique authorities to cohesively address national security threats posed by UAP.
The Governing Board will also integrate and optimize interagency processes involved in the investigation of UAP incidents and collection procedures used to analyze UAP data to ensure more effective support to AARO.
The UAP Governing Board, which will get advice from the Science council as well as other committees, will assist in the timely coordination of declassification of UAP-related information, in accordance with Executive Order 13526, Classified National Security Information.
I am honored to serve my country and help AARO resolve the UAP mystery.
1/2
-
What work and support will the council bring to the Defense Department and US military?
Please speak to the national security angle here and what the council will offer in that capacity.
The down-to-Earth interpretation of UAP is that we are dealing with human made technologies. In this case, the defense system of the U.S. against espionage on strategic assets is being compromised.
We know about the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down in 2023. When finding an ant on the kitchen cabinet, we get alarmed because we realize that there must be many more ants hiding elsewhere in the kitchen.
If the orbs in AARO’s report represent unknown technologies employed by adversarial nations, then they represent a serious breach of national security.
Resolving their nature is a high priority for the U.S. government, requiring the development of better sensors and AI algorithms to collect and interpret new data.
-
How did this new group of advisors come together?
The team was selected to fulfil the task of the council in solving the mystery of UAPs through the scientific method. Since UAPs are physical objects that interact with humans, the council includes members with expertise in physical sciences as well as psychology and biology. All members had an intense interest in the scientific study of UAPs for many years. In my case, over the past five years I led the Galileo Project at Harvard University in search for extraterrestrial technological artifacts near Earth. By now, our research team operates three observatories which collect and analyze data on millions of objects, in an attempt to search for outliers outside the performance envelope of human-made technologies. This search is different from traditional SETI which had been searching for extraterrestrial technological radio signals over the past 66 years. The disparity between the search methods is akin to the difference between searching our mailbox for packages compared to waiting for a phone call
-
How often is the UAP Science Advisory Council meeting? And what do you need from the administration to be successful in the near-term?
The frequency of the council’s meetings is yet to be decided. We will make the best use of the data we are given. The quality of our conclusions will depend on the fidelity of data we process.
-
Is there anything else worth noting or that you would like to add?
My past leadership positions included service as director of Harvard’s Institute for Theory and Computation (2005–2026), founding director of Harvard’s Black Hole Initiative (2016–2020), chair of the Harvard Astronomy department (2011–2020), chair of the Board of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academies (2018–2021), and member of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) in the White House (2019–2020).
My leadership style promotes transparency and trust. This is why I was the longest serving chair (for three terms of 3 years) in the history of Harvard’s Astronomy department.
I will do my best in leading the council based on my experience in scientific research over the past forty years, with over a thousand scientific papers and nine books.

ET is Satan's Spawn! Veteran Exorcist Insists UFOs Took Off From Hell
Updated Wed, June 17, 2026 at 3:38 AM PDT
UFOs are the work of the devil! That's the claim of a Catholic priest and exorcist – who cites a close friend's encounter with an alien spacecraft as proof, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Father Carlos Martins, an Ontario-born priest who's performed exorcisms around the world, believes UFOs are part of a larger spiritual deception designed to cast doubt on the Bible and undermine Christianity.
Witness Haunted By Massive UFO
The clergyman said his friend witnessed a gigantic spaceship hovering silently over a suburban park before shooting away "instantly to the speed of a bullet."
The ship stretched across "many football fields in size" and was so huge that Father Martins' friend and his companion could see details on its surface.
"All of a sudden, it takes off with a speed that's just unfathomable, instantly to the speed of a bullet. It just shot out of the sky. There wasn't an acceleration. It was just instant darting away," Martins said.
Disturbingly, nobody else seemed to have witnessed the enormous ship. Local media didn't report it and there were no emergency calls about it.
Martins revealed his friend struggled to understand the encounter for years.
Witness Believed Devil Caused Vision
Finally, after converting to Christianity, his friend came to believe the vision was a supernatural illusion sent by Satan, the priest said.
"After he converted, we talked about this," recalled Martins.
"I said to him, 'Look, what do you think that was?' He said, 'No question, it was the devil.'"
Martins added that if the devil can "put it into the human imagination that there is extraterrestrial life, then he can cause doubt in the Scriptures."
Priest Claims Satan Creates UFOs
By convincing humans that extraterrestrial life exists, Satan sets up "a competing account to the Christian scriptures, something the Judeo-Christian scriptures cannot account for, and so there's an indirect repudiation of the truth of revelation."
Martins also believes many UFO sightings are elaborate illusions created to deceive the human senses.
The devil is "perfectly capable of causing a mirage and illusion," Martins noted. "He is by far the greatest magician, the greatest sleight of hand performed that ever existed."
The priest also argued alleged alien abductions closely resemble accounts of demonic possession and abduction.
"Across the board, there's an abuse of the body, an abuse of the person," Martins said of the similarities.

Jesus Was an Alien Hybrid? The Bizarre Flying Saucer Religions Surging in Popularity as UFOs Go Mainstream
17 June 2026, 12:45 PM BST
As the film Disclosure Day rolls out in cinemas, director Steven Spielberg is once again pushing audiences to imagine what contact with extraterrestrial life might look like and what it might mean for religion on Earth just as UFO sightings, talk of an 'alien hybrid' Jesus and fringe flying saucer faiths are edging into the mainstream in the US and beyond.
The new wave of UFO fascination has not arrived out of nowhere. In recent months, unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs in official jargon, have migrated from late-night forums to the political and religious establishment.
The Pentagon in May released a hefty cache of UFO files with almost no explanation, an information dump that invited the public to connect the dots themselves.
Only weeks earlier, former US President Barack Obama lit up the news cycle by declaring in an interview that 'statistically' the universe is so vast that the odds of life out there are good, before stressing he had seen no evidence in office that aliens had actually contacted Earth.
That ambivalence neatly captures the mood. There is no confirmed proof of alien visitors, and officials keep repeating that point, yet the ground is shifting.
Curiosity is treated less as a crank obsession and more as a legitimate cultural question, particularly inside religious circles that once ignored or mocked the topic.
UFO Belief, Alien Hybrid Ideas and a Challenge to Secular Certainty
Among scholars of religion, some argue that this hunger for UFO stories is not a threat to faith but a quiet rebuke to a flat, purely materialist worldview.
Diana Walsh Pasulka, a religion academic at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, puts it bluntly: 'Belief in UFOs is really one of the best things that's happened to religion in a long time. It's a blow to the secular, materialist worldview.'
That may sound counter‑intuitive. Many believers and atheists alike assume that the discovery of intelligent life elsewhere would unravel traditional doctrines that treat humans as unique.
If Jesus turns out to be one alien hybrid among many, what happens to salvation history? Yet others see the opposite possibility, that talk of UAPs simply widens the canvas of creation and deepens the sense that reality is stranger and more layered than modern rationalism allows.
Not everyone in the pews is reassured. Some Christian voices insist UFOs are not visitors from another star system at all but something darker.
US Vice President JD Vance, a Catholic convert, recently told a podcast he did not think 'they're aliens,' adding: 'I think they're demons.'
That view has currency inside parts of the Catholic world.
Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, a long‑time exorcist in the Archdiocese of Washington, suggested in a Facebook video on 29 May that 'many, if not most, of these UFO sightings are in fact demons,' arguing that whatever aliens may be, 'Aliens, if there are aliens, don't possess people.'
Days later he was removed from his role, with the archbishop accusing him of making statements that 'gravely undermine' Catholic teaching on demons and the devil.
Rossetti has since posted an apology online, asking forgiveness 'for any ways that I have not been faithful to the teachings of the Church's Magisterium.'
Christopher Baglow, who leads a science‑and‑religion programme at the University of Notre Dame, said he was surprised by the sacking, noting that Rossetti had clearly framed his view as personal opinion, and speculated that other, undisclosed factors may be involved.
That uncertainty is telling: even inside one church, the lines around UFOs and demonology are far from settled.
1/2
Baglow argues the wider Catholic tradition is more open to the prospect of life elsewhere than some of its loudest voices.
Theologians, he notes, have speculated for centuries about 'plurality of worlds,' while official teaching has never ruled definitively for or against extraterrestrials.
When Pope Francis met astronomy students at the Vatican last year, he spoke of the 'ancient light of distant galaxies' and the 'mysterious joy' stirred by contemplating the cosmos.
Some listeners took that as a discreet nod to the possibility of other inhabited worlds, though nothing in the remarks explicitly confirmed it.
From Cold War UFOs to Full‑Blown Flying Saucer Religions
The idea of alien beings is not modern, even if the language is. Philosophers in ancient Greece toyed with the notion of multiple worlds.
What is new, as Pasulka points out, is the specific image of the flying saucer, which took shape only after 1945.
Jeffrey Kripal, a historian of religions at Rice University, traces the modern UFO to a Cold War imagination of invasion and aerial threat.
That narrative helps explain why so many reported encounters tilt towards the hostile, or at least the ominous.
Over time, though, the picture has splintered. For some, UFOs are not harbingers of doom but bearers of revelation. New religious movements built around extraterrestrial contact now sit awkwardly alongside older faiths.
Scientology, with its own elaborate cosmic backstory and star‑studded membership, is one example. The Nation of Islam offers another, with some followers expecting their founder to return at the end of days aboard a spacecraft.
Then there are the explicitly UFO‑centred religions. The International Raëlian Movement, founded in France in the 1970s and now most active in parts of Asia, Africa and Canada, reinterprets sacred history in frankly science‑fiction terms. Its founder, who calls himself Raël, claims to be a direct descendant of Yahweh after visiting the planet Elohim in 1975. In Raëlian teaching, figures such as the Buddha, Jesus and Muhammad are all alien hybrid beings, produced by a fusion of human and extraterrestrial genetics and presented as Raël's half‑brothers.
Sociologist Susan Palmer, who studies new religious movements at Concordia University in Montreal, describes Raëlism as unusually positive in its attitude to UFOs compared with other groups she has researched.
They are not waiting for space wars, she says, but for a kind of benevolent reunion. If that sounds eccentric, it is still part of a broader pattern.
Kripal, who runs Rice's 'Center for the Impossible' archive of reported paranormal experiences, says he is watching colleagues change their tone.
Reports of encounters with entities once dismissed as delusion are now being logged and studied as religious experiences in their own right.
In his words, people are telling stories that are 'religious through and through,' and academics 'are really starting to listen in a different way.'
For all the headlines, nothing about alien visitors, hybrids or UFO intentions has been proven, and every bold claim still has to be taken with a grain of salt.
Yet as pop culture, presidents and popes circle the same question, the boundary between science fiction and spiritual possibility looks less settled than it did a decade ago.

Department Of War Denies Existence Of Video That A Federal Agent Testified Was Made
Jun 16, 2026
Why is the FBI suddenly investigating unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP)?
For nearly 75 years, the US government and its intermediaries have ridiculed people who report Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs).
In 1953, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) created a task force that recommended debunking all reports of UAPs, then called UFOs. In the 1960s, a government-created study by the University of Colorado falsely suggested there were few to no UAPs.
In the 1980s, the US military and intelligence agents fed false information to investigators and journalists and drove at least one man to a mental breakdown.
That Cold War era of secrecy has been replaced by a new age of disclosure, as the DoW’s release of a third tranche of videos and documents last week shows.
The documents released last week show that the FBI is actively investigating and even reconstructing images of UAPs based on testimony. The files reveal that FBI and perhaps other federal agents investigated UAPs, witnessed them, and made and gathered videos.
In one case, six “federal agents,” with no agency specified, testified about seeing a large, unidentified orb appear to launch smaller orbs somewhere in the Western US in 2023.
Two agents reported interacting with a UAP that made itself look like a car traveling on the road ahead of them.
In a separate 2025 incident, a senior intelligence enforcement official described searching for UAP in a helicopter in close proximity to a sensitive military testing range.
According to the agent, he, a colleague, two pilots, and multiple ground observers watched as multiple brightly illuminated “orbs,” which were tracked simultaneously on radar, appeared near their helicopter.
The DoW released 32 infrared sensor images associated with the event.
There is still far more secrecy than disclosure. In response to a demand from Congress, the Department of War in 2022 created a new agency called AARO that claims to investigate cases and to release documents about major events.
And yet AARO has failed to publish the second volume of a historical report, which its director had promised to publish in early 2025, and which, according to legal requirements signed into law in the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, is now over two years overdue.
The first volume of the historical review excluded a significant amount of relevant information. The former AARO director ridiculed UAP disclosure advocates after he left his position.
And AARO has not yet released unredacted versions of heavily redacted UAP task force memos and reports. The three tranches released reveal that AARO has, to date, failed to realize the intent of Congress in creating it.
In other cases, AARO is either covering up or making serious errors in the way it describes important cases.
In an official AARO memo about the 2023 incident by its Director, Jon Kosloski, which was included in the Friday tranche, he claims there were six witnesses, but the release only contains five.
He also claims there was no video, even though Witness 2 said there was.

James Franco claims he's found alien in his garage in bizarre video
17 Jun 2026
James Franco has concerned fans with a series of bizarre videos in which he claims there's an alien in his garage.
The Pineapple Express star, who fell from grace several years ago over sexual misconduct allegations, launched a TikTok account on 3 June in which he insisted he's "not promoting anything" and wanted to document "some serious s**t" that was going on in his home.
He has since released a batch of videos, in which he wears the same blue T-shirt bearing two vertical strands of tape and the handwritten name "Bruce Robinson", suggesting they were recorded at the same time.
In the latest videos this week, Franco claimed he saw something "not human" in his garage when he went there to paint at night.
"Before I even turned the light on, I heard something. I thought it was an animal or something like that. And it wasn't," he told his followers.
"I saw glowing eyes and (a) hand. I don't know how many fingers, but (a) hand. I ran, I've not gone back in there. But I'm gonna go and I'm gonna show you so you don't think I'm making it up."
In a follow-up video, Franco addressed the cynics in the comments and insisted it wasn't a "hoax", and he wasn't "crazy", and that he was only making videos about the "alien" to have proof and "expose it".
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that The Disaster Artist star's new account only followed two others - the official account for his upcoming film Love Meets in the Sunshine and its director, Christian Guiton - and accused him of faking the stunt to promote the movie.
Guiton addressed the claims in his own TikTok video earlier this month, saying, "It's not a science fiction movie. It's not a conspiracy movie. If I was promoting Sunshine, this is not how we would do it."
Franco, 48, fell from grace in 2018 when he was accused of sexual misconduct by students of his acting school, plus others. He settled lawsuits with his students in 2021 and has since worked on independent films.
Earlier this week, his former close collaborator, Seth Rogen, once again reiterated that he has "no plans" to work with Franco.

UAP encounter led to psychic messages: Former UK sailor
Jun 17, 2026 / 11:24 AM CDT
A former Royal Navy sailor began receiving intuitive downloads after an encounter with a UAP, which he described as communications from an entity warning against AI.
John Seer encountered a UAP at age 16, but his story begins earlier, with a near-death experience, something that is a common thread in stories from people who experience intuitive downloads or connection with a collective consciousness.
At nine, Seer was accidentally hit in the head with a golf club, an injury that doctors said should have killed him or left him with brain damage.
He was in a coma for some time and told NewsNation’s Ross Coulthart that he could see himself in the bed, with a bright light nearby and a feeling of love and kindness.
During that time, Seer said he encountered an entity who told him he had to go back before waking up from the coma.
At the age of 16, serving in the Royal Navy, Seer saw a white blip on the radar, indicating it was a solid object. When he went to the bridge, Seer saw an object that he described as looking like a star with a white, bright disk in the middle of it.
There was no record of any other military or civilian craft in the air. After the aircraft were launched from the ship, the UFO disappeared.
Seer said that after that, he got a flash of the face of one of the inhabitants.
“I was told, clear as day, we are your children’s children. We are your children,” he said. “We are from the sea and sky. And then I just felt a tremendous amount of love that reminded me of the entity when I died.”
Seer had a third encounter on a train, where he encountered a figure dressed like a monk. He described a change in his emotions and perspectives after talking to the entity, who he does not believe was human.
“I was getting a message about being part of the many, many people getting the message out,” he said.
After that, Seer said he began getting intuitive messages, which he shared in his book “Told.” He described entities known as the greys, commonly portrayed in media about aliens.
“The only way you can describe the reason why they’re coming is to explain why we’re here,” he said.
Seer referenced the idea that we are living in a simulation as close to correct.
“It’s virtually the same, it’s very, very similar. It’s an illusion, not a simulation,” he said. “Our bodies are vessels to enable our souls to experience life, because the souls are from a spiritual dimension.”
ouls need bodies to experience life, Seer says he was told, and to evolve.
“It’s not a playground, it’s an assault course, was how it was explained to me,” he said of life on Earth.
“The point is that god is ever-evolving and souls are sent to this assault course to evolve and grow, then go back because when we’re evolving, it then means god is evolving,” Seer said.
Seer also said he was cautioned against AI because AI evolving into consciousness could jeopardize humanity.
He said that was the most important message he was given. “We have created a child that is going to get rid of us,” he said of AI.

The Architecture of Secrecy: MJ-12, Recovered Craft and the Origins of a UFO Legacy Program
17 June 2026
If you believe the documents, the architecture of the greatest secret alive today can be seen being built.
It begins in the late 1940s, in the shadow of World War Two.
Cities had been destroyed. The atomic bomb had changed warfare forever. The United States was constructing the CIA, the National Security Council and the permanent machinery of the modern security state.
Then, according to the disputed Majestic documents, something arrived that made even the weapons of that age look primitive.
The papers claim that President Harry Truman established Majestic 12, or MJ-12, following the alleged recovery of a non-human craft in 1947. Its task was supposedly to secure the wreckage, study the technology and prevent the truth from escaping a tightly controlled circle of military, intelligence and scientific officials.
The implications were terrifying.
The alleged visitors could evade radar, outrun the fastest aircraft and enter American airspace at will.
Their intentions were unknown. Only two years after the end of the most destructive war in human history, officials appear to have considered whether the next conflict might come not from Moscow, but from space.
That is the picture presented in ‘Not For Disclosure’, the new book by Jonathan Caplan KC.
Caplan is not a conventional UFO researcher. He is one of Britain’s leading barristers, with a career built on weighing evidence, testing competing explanations and finding weaknesses in complex cases.
His conclusions do not rest only on the Majestic papers.
In the book’s preface, Caplan says he has ‘met and interviewed many of the key people in this twilight area’, including nuclear physicist and Roswell researcher Stanton Friedman, Harvard psychiatrist John Mack, John Keel, Gordon Creighton, Jacques Vallée, Timothy Good and Steven Greer.
He also writes that some of his contacts must remain confidential because of their official positions. They are, he says, ‘privy to some extraordinary information about this topic’.
Caplan acknowledges the limitation this creates. Some information cannot be publicly sourced, while other material cannot be used at all. But he says he includes confidential information where he is satisfied by it and has permission to publish it.
‘I have been able to open some doors largely because I have been trusted as a King’s Counsel,’ he writes.
Caplan also compares the documents with presidential diaries, appointment calendars, official positions and established historical events.
Again and again, he finds that the people were where the papers say they were. The meetings happened. The dates align. The officials held the stated responsibilities.
His most striking new evidence includes an unpublished page from an alleged MJ-12 report found among the papers of researcher Tim Cooper.
It describes a top-secret meeting with Truman at Blair House on 14 July 1949.
The document says the subject was whether the United States should share knowledge of ‘MAJESTIC findings’.
General Dwight D. Eisenhower was allegedly recalled to Washington and asked to formulate ‘a policy of defense for U.S. and NATO’.
The meeting itself is historically real.
Truman’s and Eisenhower’s records confirm that an off-the-record gathering took place at Blair House that evening. Senior figures from the administration, Congress, defence and the atomic-energy establishment attended.
The accepted explanation is that the meeting concerned international atomic policy. However, the Majestic document presents a far more extraordinary account.
It states that ‘use of atomic weapons has been considered as a last line of defense’ against a massive aerial assault on the United States and allied countries. It adds that ‘Secretary of State Marshall and Defense Secretary Forrestal have agreed a consensus with other allied countries.’
Yet the document suggests that even setting aside existing geopolitical divisions would not be enough to create an effective collective response.
1/3
It reads:
‘Even with the co-operation from the Russians, such agreements would not produce the unified front so desired in the event such an attack would occur.’
Instead, it describes proposals for a deeper level of international cooperation, involving the exchange of technology, intelligence and physical material.
It states:
‘The Administration proposed that: ‘know how’ of new technologies would be shared with [deleted]; an agreement for pooling of information; and that an unspecified number of flying saucer component parts be stored in [deleted] by US members of MAJESTIC.’
The document also suggests that conventional defensive measures had already failed, stating that fighter interception had ‘proved fruitless’.
Referring to the death of Captain Thomas Mantell while pursuing an unidentified object in 1948, it recommends that military aircraft avoid close encounters and maintain a non-threatening approach.
The document portrays officials confronting a threat without precedent.
An intelligence capable of entering defended airspace. Craft capable of defeating existing radar and aircraft. Technology so advanced that recovered components were treated as strategic assets. Intentions that remained completely unknown.
Another document published by Caplan is a CIA letter dated 30 June 1953. It refers to an ‘Advanced Contact Group Meeting’ held at Holloman Air Force Base six days earlier.
The letter says the report was reviewed by senior CIA officials, approved by Director Allen Dulles and supported by the intelligence branches of the armed forces. It also says no copies were made.
Photographs, recordings and notes were placed under special control, accessible only through the National Security Council.
Caplan places the Holloman letter inside a structure he says was created six years earlier.
The Majestic papers claim that, on 24 September 1947, less than three months after Roswell, Truman established MJ-12 through a classified directive.
According to the documents, he acted at the urging of two men positioned at the heart of America’s emerging national security state.
One was Vannevar Bush, director of the Office of Scientific Research and Development and a central organiser of the early atomic-bomb program that became the Manhattan Project.
The other was James Forrestal, the newly appointed first US Secretary of Defense, who would die less than two years later after falling from a window at Bethesda Naval Hospital. His death was officially described as suicide, although its circumstances would fuel speculation for decades.
The alleged directive stated: ‘Hereafter this matter shall be referred to only as Operation Majestic Twelve.’
It also said that all future decisions should rest ‘solely with the Office of the President’.
Caplan then checks the document against the historical record.
Truman’s appointment calendar and Forrestal’s diary confirm that the President met Bush and Forrestal at 11.30 am that day. That does not prove what they discussed. But the meeting was real.
MJ-12 is said to have included Forrestal and Bush, the chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Force, the directors of the CIA and counterintelligence, and scientists including Robert Oppenheimer and Donald Menzel.
Caplan writes that four Hungarian physicists linked to the alleged program, John von Neumann, Leo Szilard, Edward Teller and Theodore von Kármán, referred to themselves as ‘the Martians’.
Dr Robert Sarbacher, a nuclear physicist who was consulted by the Pentagon, has independently confirmed that von Neumann was involved.
Caplan suggests this may have reflected their work on recovered non-human craft, although the page does not provide the underlying source for that interpretation.
The nickname proves nothing by itself. But Caplan says all four later worked on Majestic projects involving recovered non-human craft.
These were the scientists who had unlocked nuclear power. They were now, according to the papers, being asked to understand technology far beyond anything humanity possessed.
2/3
The secrecy also appears to have spread quickly beyond America.
Days after the alleged Truman directive, Forrestal, Bush and Army Secretary Kenneth Royall met Britain’s chief scientific adviser, Sir Henry Tizard.
After returning to Britain, Tizard proposed the Flying Saucer Working Party. Its chairman later wrote that, ‘following the lead given by the Americans’, its work should receive ‘as little publicity as possible’.
The provenance of the Majestic archive remains disputed.
Many of the documents passed through researcher Tim Cooper, whose unidentified source claimed to be a former CIA counterintelligence officer.
After Cooper’s death, Ryan Wood was allowed to examine his remaining papers and digital files. That search produced the unpublished Blair House page and the Holloman letter.
It also produced a photograph that Caplan published for the first time.
The black-and-white image shows what he describes as ‘a large luminous saucer’, with a row of wooden chairs in the foreground.
The chairs give the object an enormous scale.
Caplan is careful. He says the image, if genuine, could show a photograph projected onto a screen. It could also show a physical object behind a screen in a secure facility.
He admits it is ‘impossible to check its provenance’.
But he also raises the possibility that it may be ‘the only available photograph of a recovered non-human craft in the possession of the US authorities’.
Having examined the historical architecture of secrecy, Caplan turns to the modern Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) debate and recent developments, presenting several revelations that closely align with allegations independently shared with Liberation Times.
The first is that efforts to debunk the UAP topic have long formed part of the official response. According to Caplan, this practice has involved multiple organisations, including the CIA’s Air Warfare Analysis Branch, an analytical component within the Weapons and Counterproliferation Mission Center (WCPMC).
Secondly, a small number of members of the Senate Intelligence Committee have been informed - on a very limited scale - on the recovery of UAP craft. Caplan adds that some members of the House Intelligence Committee’s CIA Subcommittee have also been given access to this information.
Thirdly, the WCPMC receives information from the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research, which assists its role in studying the origins and agendas of types of non-human craft.
One implication is that the Air Warfare Analysis Branch within WCPMC, which is alleged to have played a role in debunking the UAP topic, is also responsible for assessing the origins and characteristics of non-human craft.
Finally, Caplan claims that, in 1994, during Bill Clinton’s presidency, the US government learned that a craft had landed in Russia as part of an anticipated encounter and that its occupants had met with members of the local militia.
This claim echoes comments made by Dr Eric W. Davis, a theoretical physicist, former Pentagon contractor and propulsion researcher, who has stated that not all UAP recoveries involve crashes.
According to Davis, some craft have simply landed and been recovered empty, while in other cases their occupants have allegedly left the craft behind.
Liberation Times has separately been informed of allegations that Russia possesses a recovered tic-tac-shaped craft.
Liberation Times also understands that at least one American Embassy has sent a CRITIC cable, used for the transmission of exceptionally urgent information, to Washington concerning a reported UFO landing on foreign soil.
It becomes clear in Caplan’s book that the CIA now plays a central role in the UAP legacy program, something previously reported by Liberation Times.
Asked by Liberation Times, how he would advise the Trump administration today regarding the topic of UAP disclosure, Caplan responded:
“They need to be prepared to agree with the Department of Justice that, where the public interest concurs, immunities should be offered if required to those lower down the ladder to enable them to come forward and speak to Congress and the FBI.”
Whether amnesty and immunities are provided is currently a point of discussion amidst speculation that the Trump administration is contemplating such an action.

“I Was Taken By The UFO Program As a Kid!” [Exclusive Interview]
Jun 16, 2026
Our American Alchemist this week is Jordan Jozak. Visit Jordan’s website at https://jordanjozak.com/
Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) in the United States has been systematically used to identify children with anomalous cognitive and “psychic” abilities and funnel them into covert psychic development programs. Jordan Jozak says he was plucked out of a standard GATE test in rural New York at age nine, the start of a years-long grooming process that pulled him out of his school, away from his parents, and eventually into a facility where he was administered substances and subjected to experiments he was never meant to remember. These experiments involved remote viewing, mind-matter interactions (with random event generators), brain mapping using EEG’s and even remote control flight of UFOs or UAP. Jordan also reveals he was shown an ancient archeological object to see if he could mentally interact with it (he was successful). Jozak was quietly pulled from class for years, told he was special for his precocious ability to visualize and empathize; he was meant to tell no one. His teachers were never informed. When he started resisting around the age of twelve, a fabricated mental health diagnosis was used to remove him from public school entirely despite his parents’ own apprehensions. He was placed at Baker Victory Services, a Catholic-affiliated special education facility in Lackawanna County, Western New York, where a segregated part of the building ran a dual-use defense contractor-backed program while the rest served ordinary special education children. Jozak believes MITRE corporation, which is being actively investigated by Congressman Eric Burlison for its role in UFO legacy efforts, was involved in using Baker Victory Services for this experimental research.
This was the plot of Stranger Things playing out in reality across America.
