The streamer in question is 27-year-old Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, who goes by his username “Sneako” on social media.

Balinthazy, a New York City native, was filmed celebrating in the streets with a group of fans after the aforementioned victory, but decided to inform viewers, “This is the Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan.”

“Islam will be in every household, Inshallah [God willing]. The whole world is Muslim. Welcome to Mamdani’s New York,” he said in a reference to New York City Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the first Muslim to hold the office.

NATO Summit Kicks Off in Ankara Turkey, With Trump Influence Meaning There Will Be NO Zelensky Speech and the Ukraine Issue Will Be Sidelined

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/07/nato-summit-kicks-ankara-turkey-trump-influence-meaning/

Those who suggest Trump is now favoring Ukraine should pay attention to his very clear signs.

Right around the G7 Summit back in mid-June, a version spread like wildfire in the whole MSM: US President Donald J. Trump would have soured on Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and was now backing Ukraine.

This caught the news cycle at the same time as the other false narrative in which Ukraine was finally winning the war.

However, during this same G7 meeting, Trump totally distanced himself from the Ukrainian war effort during an exchange with reporters, saying that the US was merely selling weapons, not giving them any more.

But hey, why would you believe Trump himself when you can trust a bunch of globalist pundits – right?

Yesterday (5), pro-Ukraine British writer Owen Matthews – who can’t be called a Kremlin stooge or Russian propagandist, wrote on The Telegraph an illuminating article about the many foreign-policy problems that Kiev is experiencing, and how this affects Tuesday’s (7) NATO summit.

Matthews writes about ‘a deepening split within the [NATO] alliance over funding for Ukraine’s war effort, with some of Kyiv’s allies in Central Europe now backing out of sending more money’.

Yes, you read it right. Continue…

French Bond Yields Rise After Le Pen Cleared To Run In 2027 Presidential Election

https://www.zerohedge.com/political/french-bond-yields-rise-after-le-pen-cleared-run-2027-presidential-election

Marine Le Pen can enter the race to become France's next president after judges confirmed her embezzlement conviction on appeal but handed her a reprieve on an election ban.

Presiding Judge Michèle Agi confirmed Le Pen’s conviction, saying that she and several others at the National Rally party misused European Union funds earmarked to pay for aides.

But the appellate judges reduced her ban to 15 months, thus paving the way for her to lead her party into the next election.

“The court found that the enforcement of this penalty since March 31, 2025, has already remedied the breach of integrity to an extent compatible with the fundamental guarantees afforded to citizens, and that disregarding this would undermine the principle of freedom of candidacy, an essential condition for the democratic exercise of universal suffrage,” Judge Agi said in court.

Le Pen was initially convicted in March 2025 by first-instance judges, who gave her an election ban lasting five years and a two-year jail term that’s on hold while she appeals.

Her party was quick to react, with Bardella quipping on TV against what he described as the “tyranny of judges.”

Jordan Bardella, whom she has groomed as her chosen successor for years, is ready to take her spot as the lead candidate for the National Rally. Continue…

A fatal crash involving Tesla's driver-assistance technology has resulted in manslaughter charges against a Texas man after his vehicle slammed into a home near Houston, killing a 76-year-old woman inside, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Prosecutors say 44-year-old Michael David Butler told first responders he had been using Tesla's Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature while making a DoorDash delivery on June 19. Butler claimed he changed the music on the touchscreen before losing consciousness. Authorities said he was the only person in the car and that toxicology tests found no evidence of alcohol or drugs.

However, data recovered from the vehicle paints a different picture. Investigators said Butler repeatedly overrode the FSD system by pressing the accelerator, with the Tesla reportedly reaching speeds as high as 73 mph in a residential neighborhood. Officials also said there was no braking in the final moments before the vehicle crashed into the home. Investigators further uncovered Google searches indicating Butler had been frustrated that the software was not driving aggressively enough. Continue…

Zelensky Touts "Battle In The Sky" As Key To Winning Asymmetric Fight With Russia

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/zelensky-touts-battle-sky-key-winning-asymmetric-fight-russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the decisive phase of Russia's invasion of Ukraine has shifted from land and sea to the air, making the battle in the sky the determining factor of the war - at a moment Russia has begun to experience a fuel shortage crisis in many locales due to vital energy infrastructure having been struck again and again by inbound suicide drones.

Speaking to the Financial Times, Zelensky emphasized that the question of seizing territory now holds far less significance because Ukraine has entered the aerial sphere and has unleashed serious damage on Russian territory. The Kremlin has all the while maintained that its forces are advancing in the east, but Zelensky is suggesting this doesn't matter anymore as Ukraine has pivoted to asymmetric warfare.

"Today I believe victory in this war belongs to whoever is smarter. If you stop the enemy on the battlefield, if you stop the war on land, and if you deny him dominance at sea – as we did with our naval drones, driving the Russian fleet away – then the next battlefield becomes the sky," he said in the FT interview, published Monday. Ukrainian suspect in Monaco bomb attack found dead

A Ukrainian woman identified by Interpol as the main suspect in last week’s bomb attack on millionaire Vadim Ermolaev in Monaco has been found dead, Ukrainian police have confirmed. A serving foreign intelligence officer may have been involved in her killing.

Anastasia Berezovskaya, 39, was placed on an international wanted list on suspicion of planting the explosive device that seriously injured the Ukrainian-born businessman and members of his family in the European principality. Her death was first reported on Tuesday by Ukrainskaya Pravda, with an official statement corroborating the details.

The European Commission is considering creating a new foreign affairs department in a move that would strip powers from the EU’s diplomatic service headed by Kaja Kallas, according to Politico. The proposal is one of several options under review as the commission reassesses how it manages the bloc’s external relations, Politico reported on Monday. Officials told the outlet it could involve merging departments responsible for trade and regional policy into one “supercharged” body.

The reported overhaul comes less than a month after the Financial Times reported that France and Germany were discussing a radical overhaul of Kallas’ External Affairs Service (EEAS). Former RCMP Director, Solicitor General Warn About CCP Threat and Land Acquisitions at PEI Hearing

Prince Edward Island needs a new approach to land acquisition regulations amid today’s national security realities and Beijing’s subversion attempts, a former senior officer with the RCMP told a provincial hearing in Charlottetown on July 6.

Gary Clement, former national director of the RCMP’s Proceeds of Crime program, said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is “one of the most ruthless transnational organized crime groups we’ve ever faced,” and that the province needs a more comprehensive approach when it comes to land ownership to protect public interest.

“The objective should not be more regulation. The objective should be smarter regulation,” Clement told a panel of the members of the Review of the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission.

The independent commission was formed by the province in May to examine the structure and responsibilities of P.E.I.’s Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (IRAC), a regulatory body overseeing energy and land regulations and related appeals processes.

The commission’s formation follows revelations by a provincial legislative committee last year that IRAC didn’t publish a report on a 2016–2018 investigation related to major land acquisitions on the island by the groups Great Enlightenment Buddhist Institute Society (GEBIS) and the Great Wisdom Buddhist Institute (GWBI). As Prime Minister Mark Carney visits Ankara for the annual NATO summit, Canada and Turkey have announced the launch of negotiations toward a free trade agreement.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said in a July 7 statement that, during Carney’s meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the summit, the two countries launched negotiations toward a “comprehensive, modern, and mutually beneficial” free trade agreement.

The PMO said the technical teams from both countries will work to define the “scope and ambition” of the agreement over the next few months, and prepare for the first round of negotiations.

The move follows a June agreement between Canadian and Turkish trade ministers to begin exploratory discussions aimed at concluding a free trade agreement.

Total trade volumes between Canada and Turkey were valued at $4.3 billion in 2024, with Canadian exports being valued at $1.3 billion and Turkish exports valued at $3.1 billion.

Major Projects Office told UAE that Canada isn't ready for $50 billion investment commitment

https://www.westernstandard.news/news/major-projects-office-told-uae-that-canada-isnt-ready-for-50-billion-investment-commitment/74823

The federal Major Projects Office (MPO) told a delegation from the United Arab Emirates last month that Canada was not yet ready to receive billions in pledged investment.

Three anonymous officials close to the matter told the Financial Times that the MPO turned away UAE officials seeking investment opportunities during a business council meeting between that country and Canadian officials hosted by Prime Minister Mark Carney in Ottawa.

The officials cited a lack of projects that were at a stage where funds could be deployed.

In November, Carney secured a $50 billion investment commitment from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

However, Canadian officials confirm that none of that funding has yet been deployed.

“The PM keeps talking about the $50 billion UAE commitment he secured on his first visit in November, but none of that has been deployed,” one Canadian official said.

However, a UAE official said the proposed investments would follow the normal progression for “foreign investments, which entails a thorough review of opportunities and planning that normally requires time to move forward.”

“We continue to work closely with Canada at the federal and provincial levels, as well as with the private sector,” the official said, describing the Canada-UAE relationship as “one of the most important partnerships globally.”

Former Quebec premier Jean Charest, who is the current co-chair of the UAE-Canada Business Council, said the MPO represents just one avenue for potential investments.

He noted the situation applies to all potential investors and not just the UAE.

“They [the MPO] gave them the only answer they could give them at this point: We’re not ready,” Charest said.

“But that is the same answer for everyone.”

The UAE delegation also expressed particular interest in energy projects, including the proposed pipeline from Alberta to the BC coast.

Carney has made doubling trade with non-US partners a priority since taking office in March of last year, and his government established the MPO to accelerate more than 20 major initiatives valued at a combined $135 billion.

He has also directed officials to finalize a UAE-Canada trade agreement expected to be signed this month.

However, a critical minerals deal announced last November with the UAE has still not materialized, and pressure is now growing on Ottawa to present “shovel-ready” projects at an upcoming investor summit in Toronto in September, which will aim to attract $1 trillion in investment to Canada over the next five years.
