Federal authorities have launched a major investigation into a rowhouse in Philadelphia’s Olney neighborhood after the arrest of 44-year-old Eugene Albert Horsch, a convicted felon found with a fake DEA badge, multiple firearms with obliterated serial numbers, crack cocaine, and a basement that police described as a makeshift laboratory filled with dangerous chemicals.

The case began on June 19, 2026, when a U.S. Park Ranger spotted a black BMW parked near a fire hydrant along the 600 block of Market Street near Independence Mall, according to FOX29.

Extra officers were deployed in the area due to the World Cup match in South Philly.

The ranger approached the vehicle after hearing a disturbance. A woman inside reportedly yelled, “You’re going to hurt me.”

A semi-truck driver fled the scene of a horrific accident after the tractor trailer he was operating collided with a freight train in southwest Atlanta this week.

A huge fireball erupted as the freight train and semi-truck collided.

Hundreds of Amazon packages were scattered all over the train tracks.

The unidentified driver escaped on foot. Witnesses saw him limping away after the accident.

According to Channel 2 Action News, the Illinois-based trucking company whose semi-truck was involved in the fiery crash is linked to 12 other crashes.

Investigators finally located the driver a day after the crash. He reportedly fled to a family member’s home.

The driver has not been charged with any crimes yet.

Finally, NYC prosecutors dismissed the remaining rape charge because the alleged victim, Jessica Mann, refused to go through with a FOURTH trial, getting grilled by Weinstein’s high-octane legal team led by Marc Agnifilo.

But he is still convicted on one sexual assault charge, against former Project Runway production assistant Miriam Haley in 2020 – and the prosecutors are asking for a 20-year sentence.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran shot at least four One Way Attack Drones at Ships transversing the Strait of Hormuz. One of the Drones solidly hit the upper deck of a large and very expensive Cargo Carrying Ship. Damage was done, but the Ship was able to proceed on its way. We knocked down three other Drones. Utah Governor Spencer Cox, a Republican, has issued a temporary statewide restriction on personal fireworks for the Fourth of July due to wildfire conditions and severe drought across the state.

The move comes as Americans prepare to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary.

On Thursday, Cox signed Executive Order 2026-04, declaring a state of emergency and granting the Utah State Forester expanded authority to prohibit the discharge of fireworks.

The restrictions are in effect from July 2 through July 5, through the holiday weekend.

Municipal leaders, working with local fire chiefs and officials, can still choose to designate specific “safe areas” where personal fireworks may still be allowed.

If no safe areas are designated in a community, the full state-level restriction applies.

The executive order temporarily suspends a portion of state law that previously limited the state forester’s ability to restrict fireworks inside city limits.

Officials have stated that increased patrols will be conducted in high-risk areas, and violations can result in criminal and civil penalties.
