A campaigner for "migration and racial justice" has been employed to shape storylines for EastEnders - Britain's long-running BBC flagship soap opera set in London's East End - featuring plots about exploited African migrants and racially motivated murders, it has been revealed.
It is clear evidence of such activists operating inside the UK's national broadcaster.
The revelation also fits a deepening pattern where institutions, from the BBC to schools to shadowy government units, work to reframe mass immigration as an unquestionable good while suppressing public concerns over its costs.
EastEnders, the BBC's flagship soap opera that has aired for decades and draws millions of UK viewers, has run plots about an autistic Ghanaian repeatedly exploited and the racist murder of another African immigrant since the hiring of campaigner Ade Lamuye in 2022.
Lamuye also serves on the advisory board of the Power of Pop Fund, launched by Comic Relief. The fund has directed almost £5 million to narrative change organisations seeking to use media to reframe the debate on migration.
She has confirmed her role in her own writing and stated that "entertainment and media holds influence and power to make real change".
She has additionally acted as a facilitator for Media Movers, a migration messaging group run by the charity Heard.
Heard has received funding from the Power of Pop scheme and previously lobbied producers of a BBC children's show to "impact the framing of migration".

Late this week Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli declared in an interview with Israeli Army Radio that Tel Aviv "will be at war with Syria sooner or later," highlighting that the alliance between Damascus and Turkey poses a "strategic challenge" to his country.
The Likud official said, "There is no way that a jihadist regime rooted in ISIS and Al-Qaeda, whose aspiration is the unification of Jerusalem, can live in peace alongside the State of Israel."
In a separate interview with Kol Barama, a prominent Israeli ultra-Orthodox radio station, Chikli identified Syria as part of a "radical Sunni axis of evil" involving Qatar, Turkiye, and Pakistan, labeling it "far more troubling" than Iran, and claimed that these nations shaped a recent US–Iran memorandum of understanding (MoU) intended to end regional hostilities.
While Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hailed the memorandum as an “important development,” Chikli joined other Likud lawmakers in branding Turkiye an “enemy state.”
He claimed that Turkiye holds “very clear ambitions” compromising Israeli interests, saying that Ankara and Damascus are “ten thousand times more concerning than Iran.”

Ilhan Omar Claims Husband Earned Less Than $1,000 Last Year After Previously Reporting Business Empire Worth Millions
Somali Rep. Ilhan Omar has filed new financial disclosures claiming her husband, Tim Mynett, earned less than $1,000 from all his jobs combined in 2025.
The claim is a major reversal from earlier reports that the couple was suddenly, and suspiciously, worth up to $30 million through his business ventures.
According to Omar’s 2025 financial disclosure, obtained by the New York Post, the only reported income for Mynett came from his now-defunct California-based wine business, eStCru.
That company, which sold bottles including one labeled “The Devil’s Lie,” generated between $200 and $1,000 before it was dissolved in April.
No income was listed from his primary business, Rose Lake Capital, a venture capital firm he co-founded in 2022 with Democratic operative Will Hailer.
Omar claims the couple’s joint assets are now valued between $20,000 and $125,000, while they carry between $30,000 and $100,000 in debt, including credit card and student loan balances.
This puts their net worth in negative territory, ranging from roughly -$80,000 to -$95,000.
The Post reports, “Despite the businesses reportedly being worth nothing, Rose Lake Capital still generated income between $100,000 and $1 million and the wine business between $2,500 and $5,000 that year, according to the amended disclosure.”
Nobody seems to be buying Omar’s claims of going from sudden multi-millionaire status to near-poverty.
“Voters see right through the corrupt lies of Ilhan Omar,” Republican National Committee spokeswoman Delanie Bomar said in a statement to The Post. “Omar has spent her entire career covering up Democrat-enabled fraud that cost taxpayers billions, so it’s no surprise that she would do the same for her husband.”
In her 2024 financial report, Omar initially listed Mynett’s ownership stakes in Rose Lake Capital and eStCru as worth between $5 million and $30 million combined. After scrutiny and questions from the House, Omar amended that filing in March.
Omar claimed the massive discrepancy was due to an “accounting error,” setting the business valuations to zero while still reporting the companies’ income ranges for 2024.
Whether it’s allegedly marrying her brother or a reported multi-millionaire who has suddenly gone broke while under scrutiny, Omar’s marriages seem to be plagued by scandals.

Suspected Israeli Influence Op Flooding X with Old Rubio Video in Attempt to Sabotage Trump’s Iran Peace Deal
What appears to be a highly coordinated foreign influence operation on behalf of Israel is flooding X with recycled old videos of Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an attempt to derail President Donald Trump’s Iran peace deal.
The goal of sharing the old, out-of-context video seems to be to falsely portray Rubio as opposing Trump’s efforts to secure peace with Iran and to sow division among the president’s supporters and within the administration itself.
In a post about the effort on Saturday night, top Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz highlighted how numerous accounts were reposting the exact same old clip, originally from February, while presenting the comments as if they were brand new and related to the current negotiations.
Bruesewitz warned, “Any ‘influencer’ amplifying those old clips today should not be trusted.”
Bruesewitz has documented a clear pattern of suspicious social media activity aligned with Israeli interests around the administration’s memorandum of understanding with Iran, which aims to end hostilities, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and advance broader talks.
Pro-Israel accounts, many of them very new, have also been spreading deliberate misinformation about the conditional reconstruction and investment fund tied to the deal, implying it will be paid by American taxpayers, which is false. Administration officials, including JD Vance, have clarified that it would be funded by Gulf states and private investors and would only become available if Iran fully complies with strict conditions.
In another Saturday night post, Bruesewitz stated he is now “enemy number one of the pro-war bots and ‘influencers’” simply for backing the president’s commitment to ending the conflict.
A recent report from Times of Israel noted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was planning to use media figures, including Mark Levin, to try and “get his message to Trump.”
Bruesewitz has been hammering the hawkish pundit to answer questions about the report, writing to him on X, “Are you working with a foreign government to try to influence the American people’s opinion and President Trump’s deal with Iran? Israel has earmarked broad swathes of the West Bank for scores of new settlements, a move that could isolate Palestinian villages and tighten West Jerusalem’s grip on the territory. RT’s Charlotte Dubenskij has taken a closer look at the expansion plans.
The Israeli government has accelerated its push to annex larger and larger portions of the West Bank in recent years, accompanied by escalating settler violence. The international community and the US, Israel’s biggest ally, has also opposed the bid, with President Donald Trump vowing to “not allow” an annexation.
Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s far-right finance minister and West Bank settler who also holds authority in the Defense Ministry over civilian affairs in the region, is backing the land grab. On Tuesday, he annulled parts of a key 1997 Israeli-Palestinian agreement which gave Hebron Palestinian municipality authority over planning, zoning, and construction in parts of the city.
According to draft plans reported last week, Israel is expected to allocate more than $350 million over several years to establish 61 settlements across the West Bank.
The push is “creating a fear amongst Palestinians that villages will be cut off from each other, they will be entirely isolated and that would give the Israelis more control over this land,” Dubenskij reported.
With demolitions in West Bank villages increasing in recent years, local Palestinians fear further displacement, fragmentation of the local society, and restrictions on movement.
Walls, roads between Israeli settlements, and IDF checkpoints are expected to accompany the push, crushing the nascent dream of establishing a Palestinian state in the West Bank.

Fox News Refuses To Run Sen Ron Johnson’s Op-Ed On Deadly Government Covid Vax Lies
Despite having uncovered attempts by the government to avoid accountability for injuries and deaths associated with the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson is experiencing stonewalling by legacy media — including Fox News — of his attempts to share his findings.
Johnson published an op-ed on his X account Wednesday detailing how nearly 40,000 people died after having received the COVID-19 vaccine and how federal health officials hid vaccine safety concerns from the public. He also accuses Fox Digital and several legacy media outlets of declining or ignoring requests to publish the article.
Johnson, chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, self-published the op-ed on X and later on his Senate website under the headline, “The story the media — and the government — don’t want you to hear.” In the piece, Johnson alleges federal health officials knew about serious COVID-19 vaccine safety concerns in 2021 but failed to apprise the public of them.
“The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA TODAY, and Fox Digital have all declined or ignored requests to publish this op-ed,” Johnson writes.
Johnson also posted a Majority Staff Interim Report by the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations which details how “Biden health officials purposely turned a blind eye toward COVID-19 vaccine safety signals.” The report also references cases of “‘Death and sudden death’ associated with the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.”
While Fox News covered Johnson’s report on May 3, it did not, at the time of writing, accept his offer to follow up on the coverage with his op-ed.
Johnson noted NBC, ABC, PBS, CNN, and MS NOW likewise all refused to cover his report.
Fox News Media, Johnson’s office, and the Department of Health and Human Services did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.
Johnson also notes Peter Marks, the former director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), an FDA center which approves vaccines and is responsible for safety surveillance, was briefed that an algorithm used to analyze Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System data would “mask” or cover up adverse events. Johnson alleges the team at CBER received data for over three months pointing to the danger of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Texas government data breach allowed hackers to steal 3 million driver’s licenses and passports
A data breach at a Texas state government department allowed hackers to take the driver’s license information and passport numbers of more than 3 million people, according to the state’s attorney general.
The incident is one of the largest data breaches to affect the state this year.
In a data breach notice on the Texas Parks & Wildlife website, the department said the state’s cybersecurity unit recently detected a security incident — the nature of which, or when, was not specified — that allowed hackers to access the department’s license system vendor, which handles the sale of hunting and fishing licenses.
The department did not name the vendor or respond to TechCrunch’s request for comment about the incident, and whether the department has received any outreach from the hackers.
The breach also included email addresses, phone numbers, and residential addresses of the affected license holders, the department said.

'Iran will never have nuclear weapon while I'm PM,' Netanyahu tells JNS summit
Netanyahu discussed the lessons learned from the Entebbe operation, in which Yonatan Netanyahu was killed during the rescue of Israeli hostages in Uganda.
"They would have had a nuclear weapon, an atomic bomb to do so," said Netanyahu. "We prevented that from happening."
He said that the IDF had "removed an existential danger" through its actions against Iran over the past year.

Three Israelis killed as small plane crashes in Maryland woods, aircraft found following day
The pilot and passengers of the small aircraft were on a training flight when the crash occured, NBC reported.
Three people were killed on Saturday after their single-engine aircraft crashed in a wooded area near Bowie, Maryland, according to Maryland State Police.
The three people on board were Israelis, according to Israeli media reports on Sunday, citing the Foreign Ministry.
An NBC report cited the police as saying that the aircraft was found Sunday morning after crashing near a townhouse community and local playground.
The pilot and passengers of the small aircraft were on a training flight when the crash occured, NBC reported, noting that the aircraft belonged to a Montgomery County flight school.
The Baltimore Sun identified the aircraft as a Piper PA-28, a common training aircraft in the United States.
Jewish tech entrepreneur dies in Texas crash
On Tuesday, a small jet plane carrying six people crashed into a vehicle on a highway in Laredo, Texas, authorities said.
One person was killed in the crash, named by the Associated Press on Wednesday as Austin tech entrepreneur Joshua Baer.
