REVEALED: Trump 'loves to replay his rallies and relish his own brilliance' as his staff have thrown in the towel on any efforts to 'supervise' him during his vacation

His favorite moment to rewatch is the October 2016 presidential debate in St. Louis where he told Hillary Clinton 'you'd be in jail' if he was running the country

'He thinks it's the greatest thing that ever happened in the history of presidential debates,' a source said

White House staff have given up on scheduling Trump while he's on vacation

He will be on 'executive time' - which means he's free to golf, watch cable news, talk with friends and tweet

His tweets keep his press and legal teams hopping

President Trump will be at his Bedminister golf club until mid-August

President Donald Trump likes to watch replays of his rallies and other public performances but instead of looking for room to improve, he's relishing his brilliance, it was revealed on Sunday.

Additionally, his staff have thrown in the towel on trying to supervise him this month while he's on vacation, leaving him free to golf and tweet.

The president has a pre-loaded TiVo in his dining room, just off the Oval Office, sources told Axios, and he likes to rewatch his old rallies and debates with his personal commentary comment on how well he did.

People think it's easy,' Trump said of his rallies, according to a source who told the news website. 'I've been doing this a long time now and people are used to it, every rally, it's like, people have said P.T. Barnum. People have said that before. And they think that's easy, because hey, P.T. Barnum, he does the circus. … They don't realize, it's a lot of work. It's not easy.'

But his favorite moment of all time is the October 9, 2016 presidential debate between him and Hillary Clinton in St. Louis.

This was the first debate after the revelation of the 'Access Hollywood' tape in which Trump is heard making lewd comments about women to host Billy Busy.

It released a firestorm of negative publicity around the presidential candidate and saw several member of his own party withdraw their endorsements and urge him to drop out of the race.

Trump countered the narrative by inviting four women whom had accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment to watch the debate from the audience.

He likes the moment from that night when Clinton said: 'It's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.'

'Because you'd be in jail,' Trump responded.
