I have yet to see a real layman's explanation what a quantum computer really is or how it works. I assume thats because nobody who writes articles has any idea either. My best guess is it's some kind of sky net, meant to spy on everything, leading to a totalitarian society where we're punished for wrong think. The only difference is theres less Muslims here than the UK. Kek.
