Press has to be very careful. Q said Trump can confirm, so Trump holds all the cards. Means he knows 100% whether the op is true or false. Press has to prep for both scenerios. Even if the press guesses right, Trump already has the counter planned since he knows whether it is true or not(it is), so they are screwed either way.

Also another possibility is that the NSA liked the idea and they are now Q where it didn't start that way. Honestly what made me start to believe was even though the plan sounded outrageous and everything said was out there above what I was willing to believe and I thought I had quite the imagination, it actually made more sense than any other explanation from anyone else.
