PORTLAND, Ore. – Finding it hard to pinpoint your frustrations with the 2016 election?
Well, a local artist brought his life-size voodoo dolls of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump to Voodoo Doughnut Too in Portland to let you stick it to either (or both) of the presidential candidates.
Astoria-based artist Shane Bugbee is behind the creations. He says he came up with the idea after the candidates were chosen in the primaries.
“I’m still heartbroken about Bernie,” Bugbee said. “This project is about promoting the idea of voting reform and wanting a better system.”
From 6 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday and Thursday, you can come to the Voodoo Too location on Sandy Boulevard and jab the dolls and pin on your wishes for the election.
