Mind you, the many factors of today are substantially different
so this is only a flashback to remind us of pos/neg possibilities.

Q better get 'the military is the only way' segment into gear. The American mind is about to stop chasing timestamps, puzzles and memes and go to another kind of work.
People getting chopped with machetes and raped will be whole different level of horror show because they have the same access to firearms if not more due to the agencies of assistance. They are emboldened due to that fact.
The real American will be stopped by anyone, even those wielding authority vested by the people.
So the invaders, I can only say may God have mercy on their soul because the previously tolerant law abiding citizen will not.
And many forms throughout history were written on this tough fact.
