Supreme Court TPS Decision Paves Way for Trump Administration to Send Migrants Back to Haiti, Syria and Beyond

June 26, 2026 | Sundance |

Hopefully, this will speed up the process to remove millions of migrants who were previously shielded by “Temporary Protected Status.” {Ruling Here}

In a 6-3 decision Thursday, the Supreme Court said the administration can strip temporary protected status (TPS) from migrants who arrived from Islamist Syria and the ‘sh!thole‘ nation of Haiti.

Given the ridiculous way Obama and Biden defined crisis, the ruling appears to have removed legal obstacles blocking Trump and Rubio from endingthe temporary protected status for immigrants from 13 countries, including Venezuela, Honduras and Afghanistan. Get rid of all of them. Illegal migrants do not have constitutional protection.

As noted by the Supreme Court, there is no valid claim of discrimination that applies to the case because, well, quite simply, the Trump administration appears to be against every TPS designation that expires regardless of the nationality.

[SOURCE]

• (VIA AP) […]People of all nationalities whose TPS was ended by the Trump administration have filed dozens of lawsuits. Many of these cases are still ongoing, and judges will closely examine the Supreme Court’s decision.

The government argued that DHS, not judges, had sole authority to end the protections. The court’s 6-3 conservative majority agreed, paving the way to end protections for Haitians and Syrians.

The decision is definitely bad news,” said Ahilan Arulanantham, co-director of the Miñana Family Center for Immigration Law and Policy at the University of California, Los Angeles, and one of the attorneys who represented Syrians. “The implication of this is that at least most of the claims that have been litigated to challenge this administration’s sort of illegal war on TPS are now foreclosed.”

Immigration lawyers maintain that both countries are in crisis and that people cannot return safely. They asserted that the administration neither assessed conditions in those countries nor consulted other government agencies, as required by law. (read more)

Iran Firm On Hormuz Fee Plans, Eyes $40 Billion Revenue A Year

Tehran eyes lucrative overhaul of key oil chokepoint, proposes charges for maritime services amid post-conflict negotiations

Iran Firm On Hormuz Fee Plans, Eyes $40 Billion Revenue A Year

Iran is seeking to dramatically reshape the future management of the Strait of Hormuz by proposing a major fee-based framework for security, safety and environmental services that could unlock up to $40 billion in annual revenue for participating countries, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing officials familiar with the proposal.

Tehran is presenting the proposal as part of a new post-conflict framework for the Gulf, arguing that the management of one of the world's most crucial energy shipping routes cannot return to the previous arrangement.

According to WSJ,Iran is engaging with Persian Gulf nations and countries including China to build support for the plan.

Iran's chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said during a visit to Oman that the strait's management “will never return” to its earlier structure, the report said.

The proposal draws inspiration from Turkey's management of the Dardanelles, where ships pay charges known as the “gold franc” to fund services such as navigation support, sanitation and rescue operations.

Tehran believes a similar model could work for Hormuz, provided regional countries participate and share revenues.

However, the plan has faced resistance from the United States. US Secretary of StateMarco Rubio said no country has the right to charge vessels for using international waterways, adding that such a condition would not be acceptable in any agreement.

The WSJ report said the recent 60-day ceasefire arrangement requires Iran to remove mines from the strait and maintain toll-free navigation.

However, Tehran has been given a role in discussions over the waterway's future administration.

The Strait of Hormuz, through which around one-fifth of global oil supplies pass, has seen shipping activity recover after the conflict ended, though some operators remain cautious.

Legal experts cited by WSJ said any fee system would likely require broad international approval and could not be imposed unilaterally.

Moulton: We Should Talk Court Packing Because SCOTUS Is Saying Haitians Should Go Back

Ian Hanchett26 Jun 2026

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Laura Coates Live,” Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) argued that the Supreme Court is “basically saying that 350,000 people here should go back to a country that the State Department, under Marco Rubio, has said Americans can’t travel there because it’s so unsafe” and, in response, there should be talk about packing the court “to push back against the MAGA Republicans.”

Moulton said, “This TPS ruling, they’re basically saying that 350,000 people here should go back to a country that the State Department, under Marco Rubio, has said Americans can’t travel there because it’s so unsafe. And, of course, for some of them, it’s going back, for a lot of young kids who were born here in America with Haitian parents, they’ve never even been to this country before, a country that’s deemed too unsafe, too dangerous for Americans to travel to.It will tear apart families, it will upend communities. American citizens will see their classmates just ripped out of their schools. And on top of this, it’s going to take away a lot of healthcare workers.”

He added that thereshould be term limits and should be “ethics reform”, “But on top of that, let’s talk about packing the court, let’s talk about expanding it,let’s talk about what we need to do to push back against the MAGA Republicans.”

Democrats Melt Down over Haitian TPS Ruling: ‘American Families’ Losing Temporary Amnesty After ’20 Years’

Simon Kent26 Jun 2026

Decisions by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) on Thursday allowing President Donald Trump to end protected status for Haitian and Syrian immigrants, all of which make it easier to enforce federal immigration law, drove one self-interested Democrat group into a very public melt down.

The 6-3 ruling overturned decisions by federal judges that had blocked the Trump administration from terminating Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 350,000 people from Haiti and 6,100 from Syria.

Step forward Democrat members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus who went into a very public fit of apoplexy.

They claimed SCOTUS is “enabling the Trump administration’s worst anti-immigrant policies, and in the process dealing our communities and our economy an undue blow.”

They held a press conference immediately after the judgments were handed down and one-by-one expressed their disappointment at moves that now make it easier for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to exercise its duties.

First off was Laura Gillen (D-NY). She sees Haitian TPS recipients as “part of the very fabric of our daily lives and pillars of our economy and our faith communities.”

Next up was a similarly mortified Rep. Rob Menendez (D-NJ).

He accused the Trump administration of seeking, “to create the largest undocumented population that it possibly can, to fulfill Steph Miller’s mission of deporting and removing as many people as possible… This is purely about inflicting as much pain on our immigrant neighbors.”

Not to be outdone, Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-AZ) then strode to the microphone to unleash her venom on the court and the president.

“Today we watched as the Supreme Court sided with an administration that is seeking to strip away the basic human rights, protected under international law, for hundreds of thousands of American families,” she said before turrning her attentions on the Supreme Court. (Not protected in USA.)

Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA) was also in high dudgeon. He said, “TPS matters. And to have a president who can unilaterally change the rules as he goes is shameful and awful.”(unless he was a Democrat President)

Guerline Jozef (Founder, Haitian Bridge Alliance) also was in praise of TPS holders and solid in her displeasure at the court and the president.

She said, “We have TPS holders who have been in this country, calling the U.S. home for the past 10, 15, 20 years. They are our doctors, caregivers, attorneys, taxi drivers — the immigrants who keep these United States of ours moving.”

Not to be outdone, Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) accused the Supreme Court of having members who delight in siding with the president.

She declared, “Trump’s loyalists in the Supreme Court have joined forces with him to… advance an authoritarian white supremacist agenda.”

As Breitbart News reported, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in Mullin v. Al Otro Lado, clarifying that a migrant who has not physically set foot into the U.S. is not entitled to apply for asylum and does not have to be inspected by an immigration officer.

Similarly, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in Mullin v. Doe that President Donald Trump’s administration can end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians living in the U.S. — making them deportable.

And, in a third case, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in Blanche v. Muk Choi Lau,which will make it easier for DHS officials to deport green card-holders who have been convicted of crimes in the U.S.

DHS General Counsel James Percival said the rulings reinforce the steadfast notion the nation’s borders are critical to its sovereignty.

If they are mad about this result, they’re will really be pissed at the other 16 lawsuits the Trump Admin are pursuing on illegal migrants!

Prosecutors Deny Racial Motive Behind Group Ambush ‘Lynching’ of French Teen Louis

Kurt Zindulka26 Jun 2026

Prosecutors in the case involving the killing of a French teenager that shocked the nationhave said that while a motive has yet to be determined, they have apparently been able to rule out a racial motive.

On Tuesday, 17-year-old Louis died in hospital after being brutally beaten to death in the Mediterranean town of Narbonne by a group of youths who ambushed him near a construction site last Friday. After being beaten by the group, Louis was left for dead, and his near-lifeless body was only discovered over 14 hours later by a worker.

Footage of the savage beating of the young man was widely shared on social media in France, leading to speculation that the killing was motivated by racial animus, given that some of the apparent perpetrators appeared to be ethnic minorities. The attack has been widely described as a “lynching”.

However, prosecutors have been quick to deny a racial element, despite saying that the motive for the attack remains unclear.

Speaking to the local L’Independentnewspaper, public prosecutor Jean-Philippe Rey said on Thursday that “the motive for the crime for which the five young men aged 17 to 19 have been charged remains unknown for now.”

However, it can already be stated that it has no connection whatsoever with a racial motive”.

Rey said that while three of the suspects were known to social care services for children, none of them was placed in the same facility in which Louis was temporarily placed earlier this year.

The prosecutor alsoconfirmed that Louis had been previously subjected to violence, including in May and earlier this month, when he was attacked by a separate, apparently unrelated group of youths. Footage of that attack appeared to show Louis being knocked unconscious. The public prosecutor said that, despite being encouraged to file a complaint, “no further action was taken” regarding the attack.

While apparently being able to rule out a racial motive, thelocal prosecutors have said that the attack that led to Louis’ death was likely “premeditated” as the group of alleged assailants had “laid an ambush for the victim by luring him into a construction site to beat him to death.”

However, some have still speculated that ethnicity may have played a role, including Frontières Editor-in-Chief Jules Laurans, who has been in communication with the family of the slain teen.

Racist crime remains a hypothesis because Louis was the ideal victim. He was vulnerable and associated with many people from immigrant backgrounds,” he said on Wednesday evening.

Regardless, the brutal killing has been taken as further evidence of the social degradation occurring in France.

National Rally leader Jordan Bardella remarked, “Louis, 17 years old, was lynched to death with unimaginable violence, filmed by his gleeful assailants, left to agonise through an entire night, and found lifeless on a construction site in Narbonne.

He is the symbol of a country adrift, undermined by a barbarisation that neither the laxity nor the blindness of our leaders can halt. We must dare to break with 30 years of failures if we are to restore order in France.”

2026 World Cup Has Already Smashed the All-Time Attendance Record with Over 3.6 Million Spectators

The American-hosted World Cup has already set a new record, with over 3.6 million fans in attendance.

With Thursday’s match between Ecuador and Germany, which boasted over 80,663 spectators at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, the total crowd in attendance for the 2026 World Cup rose to “3,605,357,setting a new all-time record,” per Yahoo Sports.

Theprevious attendance record of 3,587,538was also set in the United States during the 1994 World Cup. But with the 2026 tournament not yet in the Round of 32 the new recordwill continue to increaseand set a figure that might never again be reached.

To this point, the 2026 tournament includes the highest stadium-occupancy rate at 99.7%

Thursday’s matches also set a single-day attendance record with 384,206 fans watching across venues in Philadelphia; Kansas City, Missouri.; Arlington, Texas; Santa Clara, California; and Inglewood, California.

It should, however, be noted that the1994 World Cup featured just 24 teams playing 52 games total, while 2026 features 48 teams with 56 games so far. Stadiums in the past 30 years have also increased their seating capacities.

“For instance, though Lusail Stadium in Qatar had a listed seating capacity of 88,000 and packed in 88,966 spectators for the 2022 World Cup final, six of the eight venues for the tournament had capacities of 40,000,” noted Yahoo Sports.

DHS Lawyers Praise SCOTUS Rulings as ‘Victories for the Rule of Law, Common Sense’

John Binder25 Jun 2026

Officials at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are praising decisions issued by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) on Thursday, all of which make it easier to enforce federal immigration law.

Muk Choi Lau, which will make it easier for DHS officials to deport green card-holders who have been convicted of crimes in the U.S.

DHS General Counsel James Percival said the rulings reinforce that the nation’s borders are critical to its sovereignty.

“These three rulings are all victories for the rule of law and common sense,” Percival said:

This includes barring aliens from applying for asylum if they haven’t set foot in the United States, making it easier to remove lawful permanent residents who commit a crime, and reaffirming that TPS was always supposed to be temporary and can be cancelled at the appropriate time. Thanks to these decisions, we now have several more important tools to continue securing our borders.[Emphasis added]

Meanwhile, Democrats have panicked over the rulings. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, for instance, claimed SCOTUS is “enabling the Trump administration’s worst anti-immigrant policies, and in the process dealing our communities and our economy an undue blow.”

Exclusive: Gubernatorial Hopeful Andy Biggs: Dem Gov. Katie Hobbs Literally Tore Down Immigration Barriers

Hannah Knudsen25 Jun 2026

Immigration enforcement would look much different in Arizona if Rep. Andy Biggs led the state as governor, the gubernatorial hopeful told Breitbart News Daily, discussing the open borders moves made by Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs.

Biggs said the legislature just gave an additional 100 officers to the Department of Public Safety, which he said is “underfunded and understaffed.”

“But in that special force she says they can, they can work on gang-related issues and drug interdiction, but they cannot help the federal law enforcement with any kind of immigration enforcement,” he said, explaining Hobbs’ position.

“You know we have, I viewPima County and Tucson as kind of, if they’re not full sanctuary cities, they’re certainly quasi sanctuary cities,” he said, adding that Hobbs literally opened the border in her state.

“[The] first thing she did, she came in and got rid of the border security task force, and then started tearing down barriers that the previous governor had put in place, so that’s where she is,” Biggs said.

“[She] literally opened borders to the amount that was within her control,” host Mike Slater remarked. “What kind of, what kind of barriers were at the borders?”

Biggs responded, “So similar to Texas, Governor Ducey in places down by Yuma put up those like railroad containers or container barriers, and so that’s that’s what they had, and she tore those down.”

“Why? Just leave them, it’s easier just to leave them there, right?” Slater commented. “They’re there, he might as well just leave them.”

“Yeah, but then it’d be harder,” Biggs said. “People had to go around the barriers to get in, so that’s why. I mean, she’s an open borders person, that’s that’s bottom line for her.”

Biggs’ primary is July 21, 2026.

(Is Hobbs and team that cheated on 2020 election, ever going to get prosecuted? If she isn’t she’ll just cheat on massive proportions again, look at CA is doing again!)

Fact Check: Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon Claims SAVE Act Would Disenfranchise Half of Pennsylvania Voters

(so she is admitting 50% of her PA voters are illegal)

Paul Bois25 Jun 2026

Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA) claimed that the SAVE Act would disenfranchise half of Pennsylvania voters by requiring them to show ID at the ballot box.

Scanlon issued her claim during a congressional town hall this week.

“Under this SAVE Act, Real ID that shows citizenship is required,” she began. “Only five states have Real ID that shows citizenship. Pennsylvania is not one of them.”

“So remember all the harassment you had to go through to get Real ID – if you did, because only half of us have it still – you’d have to go through more to get that kind of Real ID just to register to vote,” she continued. “So, it is an extra layer that is unnecessary.”

Scanlon concluded by dismissing claims of potential voter fraud.

Every study that’s ever been done shows that non-citizens are not voting in our elections, and so it’s another way to stir up fear, and it’s another way to keep people from voting,” she concluded. “Here in Pennsylvania, people don’t have Real ID. People don’t have passports. About half our voters would get disenfranchised if this thing were to go through.” (They just lie their asses off.)

While the issue of voter fraud will always be subject to debate and scrutiny,Scanlon’s claim that voter ID would disenfranchise voters falls short when examining the facts. In Georgia, for instance, where similar laws were put into effect, voter turnout either went up or stayed relatively the same. During the 2022 midterms following several reforms, early voting actually tripled from 2018 and doubled from 2020, with black voters casting over 100,000 more early ballots than they did in 2018.

Just this year, Georgia voters saw a record turnout for a primary election, with reports that even Republican Gov. Brian Kemp has grown “concerned about the Democratic turnout advantage,” per WABE.

“About 1 million people turned out for early voting as polls closed Friday, according to the Georgia secretary of state’s office. The previous record for early voting in a Georgia primary was about 857,000 in 2022,” noted the outlet.

“And Democrats have flipped the script on Republicans this year compared to the early voting period in the 2022 primary,” it added.

(What to hell is wrong with her face?)
