AI Companies Are Trying to Seize Control of Elections
With trillions of dollars on the line, it should come as no surprise that tech companies are spending gobs of cash on the upcoming US midterm elections. What is surprising is the scale of electoral financing, as certain newly-founded AI super PACs are now spending more on candidates than the candidates are spending on themselves.
According to reporting by the Los Angeles Times, political finance groups linked to tech companies including OpenAI and Anthropic are already some of the top spenders in the 2026 elections. So far, they've distributed a combined $37 million on various campaigns, a number which is expected to skyrocket as November draws closer (and those are just the ones we know about, as numerous tech-backed PACs are alleged to have evaded federal reporting requirements.)
While one might expect these companies to flock to the typically pro-business and small-government Republican party, an LA Times infographic shows that they're cynically playing both sides. ChatGPT maker OpenAI, for example, is heavily linked to both the American Mission PAC, which has donated $8 million to Republicans, and the Think Big PAC, which has spent $14.1 million on Democrats so far.
Anthropic, meanwhile, is linked to the Jobs and Democracy PAC and Defending Our Values PAC, which gave $11 million and $5.2 million to Democrats and Republicans, respectively.
As former Google public policy executive Adam Kovacevich told the Times, AI companies are quickly becoming "comfortable with using their power to achieve a political goal."
Zooming out a bit, funding both sides of the aisle makes tactical sense, at least if you're an AI company. One of the key benefits of backing mainstream political contenders seems to be the crushing effect it has on non-partisan candidates, who may come into office with populist ideas like regulating generative AI or restricting data center construction.
These include figures like Al Olszewski, a candidate who styled himself as a "grassroots conservative" in Montana's Republican primary. While Olszewski had the benefit of running as an incumbent, he got walloped in the party primary after a super PAC affiliated with OpenAI's co-founder spent nearly $900,000 backing his opponent.
"There was no way as a grassroots person that I could compete with that kind of money," Olszewski told the Times. "I got crushed."

On October 3rd, Haaretz published an extraordinary investigation, exposing how for years, the Zionist entity has clandestinely conducted dedicated “online operations” to promote the “public image” of Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran’s eldest son and pretender to the country’s now non-existent throne, locally and internationally. The efforts were highly sophisticated and wide-ranging, harnessing artificial intelligence, social media manipulation of every sort, and other online warfare techniques intended to convince audiences Pahlavi was Tehran’s exiled rightful ruler-in-waiting.
Hundreds of bogus online personae, with AI-created profile photos and fraudulent biographies, calling for the restoration of the Islamic Republic’s monarchy and sharing photos and videos of Pahlavi, are run by a shadow battalion of Persian-speakers specifically recruited by Israeli intelligence for the project. Bot and troll networks amplify their output, with campaign messaging constantly updated based on audience analysis. Another component of the online blitzkrieg is concerned with glorifying Gila Gamliel, a member of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and Tel Aviv’s “point person with Pahlavi.”
The network got busted by independent digital researchers as a result of Gamliel posting an AI-generated video on social media platforms, titled “Next Year in Free Tehran”. The fictional clip, published June 15th - three days into the Zionist entity’s botched 12 Day War, and coincidentally the same day Netanyahu forecast imminent regime change in Iran - “had massive exposure, most of which was likely inorganic.” It depicted Netanyahu, his wife, Gamliel, her partner, Pahlavi and his wife walking through Tehran’s streets.
“The video received many more views than most of the minister’s X posts, and these and other attempts to amplify it” helped researchers “locate” a network of bots and fake users artificially boosting Gamliel’s “frequent” calls for regime change in Iran and her ties to Pahlavi. “Many of these accounts were opened in 2022, at the height of the so-called hijab protests in Iran,” Haaretz records. Over 100 further “allied accounts” were launched during the 12 Day War to further boost the malignant network’s output.
Haaretz cryptically reveals, “this doesn’t appear to be the only campaign operating on this issue from Israel.” Still, the outlet’s bombshell disclosures confirm the Zionist entity - if not other hostile foreign powers, including the US - was covertly engaged in expansive psychological warfare initiatives to manufacture consent for Pahlavi’s installation as Iran’s ruler at two critical junctures in recent history, when regime change in Tehran was being openly promoted by Israeli officials, Western governments, and the mainstream media.
Those attempts floundered. While Pahlavi occasionally receives positive coverage from Western news outlets, he enjoys no support among Iran’s population at home, and even most diaspora detractors reject any suggestion of him taking power in the country. In fact, the would-be monarch’s reputation is so poisonous, his endorsement is a decisive kiss of death for any challenge to Tehran’s government. That vast resources were - and seemingly remain - invested by the Zionist entity in such a futile endeavour ranks as an embarrassing failure of epic proportions.

Trump’s Board of Peace plans to grant itself sweeping immunity, documents show
Draft resolution seeks to shield board members and security forces from potential prosecution for work in Gaza
The UN-sanctioned Board of Peace announced by Donald Trump earlier this year to rule Gaza is planning a sweeping grant of legal immunity for itself, according to a draft of the resolution obtained by the Guardian. The draft language would also let the organization obtain public property in Gaza “free of charge”.
The four-page resolution, labeled “sensitive but unclassified”, extends broad protections to every member of the Board of Peace and its administrative affiliate, the office of the high representative (OHR), as well as to the Palestinian technocrats, international military forces and nonresident contractors lined up to perform work in Gaza. It defines legal processes from which they would have immunity as “any arrest, detention or legal proceedings in the courts or other entities in Gaza”.
It is unclear if the document is attempting to relieve the Board of Peace and its affiliates from prosecution in international courts, in addition to potential claims in Gaza.
The Board of Peace’s chair, Donald Trump, would have the right to waive someone’s legal immunity, pending majority support from his peace board, the June 2026 draft resolution states.
The seven-member “executive board” that leads the Board of Peace includes Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner; special envoy Steve Witkoff; the president’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles; and his national security adviser, Marco Rubio. Though countries have pledged billions, most have not yet transferred funds to support its work in Gaza and no major contracts have been issued.

The Board of Peace did not answer specific questions about the draft resolution, but an official said in a statement: “There is no operative resolution or immunity framework of the kind described in your questions … Any suggestion that this process is designed to create lawlessness or impunity is wrong, misleading and gets the issue entirely backwards.”
The official added that “the suggestion that the President will have a role in establishing or waiving immunity in Gaza [is] categorically false”, and that “the Board will ensure all personnel, contractors, and participating entities follow applicable law and operate under clear rules, oversight, and accountability mechanisms”. The official did not explain what the oversight and accountability would be.

US-led reconstruction efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan were often plagued by controversies of corruption or cases of civilian deaths or abuse at the hands of American contractors, including those working for Blackwater and KBR, who have since faced litigation in US courts. Any reconstruction effort in Gaza could face similar challenges.
“It looks like an attempt to exempt the board, and all of its personnel, from accountability for potential legal violations,” said Emily Schaeffer Omer-Man, an expert in litigating international humanitarian law in Israeli, American and foreign courts.
Several lawyers, including Omer-Man, pointed to the specific risks associated with section 7 of the draft resolution, entitled “Third Party Liability/Claims”, which lays out a system for the Board of Peace to consider and adjudicate any claims for “property loss or damage and for personal injury, illness or death” arising from its work in Gaza.
“They are basically saying there’s no external oversight, including applicable international law regarding occupation,” said Noura Erakat, an international law professor at Rutgers University. “It’s creating a legal system unto itself.”

New Israeli incursion into southern Syria as occupation forces claim killing militants
Israeli occupation forces carried out a new ground incursion into Syria's southern Daraa countryside on Sunday, while the Israeli military claimed its troops had killed several "armed militants".
According to Syria's Al-Ikhbariya TV, an Israeli military force consisting of six vehicles advanced into the Wadi al-Raqad area, reaching the village of Jamla in the Yarmouk Basin of western Daraa.
The broadcaster said the operation coincided with the deployment of another Israeli force to Tal al-Maghar, where troops established positions on the hilltop, operated laser illumination equipment, and deployed snipers across the area.
It added that Israeli forces stationed on Tal al-Maghar fired heavy machine guns toward nearby agricultural land.
The Israeli occupation army, meanwhile, claimed in a statement that its forces had killed several armed men in southern Syria a day earlier.
The latest incursion comes two days after Israeli occupation forces conducted six separate ground raids across Syria's southern provinces of Daraa and Quneitra on Friday.
The raids were the latest episode in what Syrian authorities describe as an almost daily pattern of Israeli air strikes, ground incursions, arrests, and military operations across the country's south.
Even as a US-Iran memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at ending hostilities across multiple fronts has raised hopes of broader regional de-escalation, Israeli leaders have increasingly signaled that their military presence in Syria is not temporary and could expand further.
Following the fall of former President Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024, Israel declared the 1974 Disengagement Agreement effectively void, moved troops into the United Nations (UN)-monitored buffer zone, and expanded its military presence in Syria beyond the occupied Golan Heights.
Damascus, however, said it remained committed to the agreement and called for a full Israeli withdrawal.
The Syrian government has repeatedly demanded that Israel withdraw from the Syrian territory it occupies, which the United Nations says covers about 235 square kilometres (91 square miles). It maintains that all Israeli actions in southern Syria are null and void under international law and has urged the international community to press Israel to fully withdraw from the area.

According to the indictments, filed by the Cyber Department of the State Attorney’s Office with the Tel Aviv District Court on June 25, the boy’s grandmother, grandfather and aunt would abuse him as a “sexual amusement” and even did so together with other relatives, who are also suspects in the case. The offenses were committed on several occasions, during which the family members touched the boy’s genitals while laughing in apparent enjoyment.
The defendants also filmed themselves on their mobile phones while committing some of the offenses attributed to them, and some of the videos they recorded were sent by them to a family WhatsApp group. Several of the videos were saved on relatives’ mobile phones.
The indictments charge the defendants with indecent acts against a minor family member, abuse of a minor or helpless person and offenses involving the use of a minor’s body to create obscene publications by a person responsible for the minor. Along with the indictments, prosecutors asked the court to keep the defendants in custody until the end of the legal proceedings against them.
The investigation began as part of a broader, ongoing case conducted by Unit 105 at Lahav 433 against numerous suspects from across the country for sexually assaulting minors, including their family members. As part of the investigation, several indictments have already been filed by the Cyber Department at the State Attorney's Office.

Some were suspected of sexually assaulting their own children, and of documenting the rape and indecent acts they committed.

For the 250th, US Congress Plans to Surrender Sovereignty

The United States Congress, on the very eve of the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence from Great Britain, is preparing to formally diminish American independence and sovereignty through a proposed merger and long-term integration of executive functions throughout the government, coordinated by the Department of Defense.
Treacherous provisions in the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) mandate that the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Commerce Department and the heads of other relevant federal departments and agencies cooperate with their Israeli counterparts for the purpose of consolidating U.S. and Israeli military activities in order to align efforts and avoid duplication.
The greatest threat to American sovereignty rarely arrives wearing the uniform of a foreign army. It often arrives through the complacency, expediency, or poor judgment of elected officials who fail to recognize the long-term consequences of the powers they surrender.
Whether motivated by political convenience, misplaced loyalty, or simple inattention, such actions can erode constitutional self-government just as surely as deliberate acts of betrayal.

The legislation specifies Israel-U.S. coordination with America’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Missile Defense Agency, including the Golden Dome initiative, the United States Space Command, directed energy programs, artificial intelligence, biotechnology and other critical technologies that will shape the future distribution of power.
Of all the areas mentioned, artificial intelligence and biotechnology may have the greatest long term implications. These technologies will shape privacy, surveillance, predictive policing, digital identity systems, biosecurity, human enhancement technologies and information control.
The Founders could never have imagined artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, or biotechnology directed by algorithms. Yet they understood a timeless truth: power must remain accountable to the people.
The danger of our age is not merely that authority may concentrate in governments, corporations, or military institutions. It is that decisions of profound consequence may increasingly be delegated to technological systems that operate beyond the understanding and oversight of those whom the Constitution entrusts with governing.
The highly structured Israel-U.S. merger is included in the $1.5 trillion NDAA, in Section 219, formerly Section 224, in the House version and Section 1217 in the Senate version. It puts in place policies which will bind future administrations.
