This whole "drop gas to $2.50 right now or else" routine is a total joke and pure political theater meant to trick people before the midterms. It treats voters like they're completely stupid because gas stations aren't a charity and can't just lose money on expensive fuel they bought weeks ago just because of an angry social media post. Threatening the DOJ and yelling about "gouging" is just a classic deflection to make people forget that the administration’s own foreign policy blunders sent oil skyrocketing past $100 earlier this year. Shouting fake tough-guy threats on the internet does absolutely nothing to fix a fragile global market, and throwing an economically illiterate temper tantrum isn't going to magically lower the $3.86 national average
