Only While most tadpoles are herbivores that feed on algae, a few specific species such as the Green Tree Frog, Giant Tree Frog, and Spadefoot Toad actively forage on mosquito larvae and eggs in the water.
This is a small number of frogs in the grand scheme.
Also, adult frogs are carnivorous and opportunistic, eating whatever fits into their mouths. While they will eat an adult mosquito if it lands nearby, flying insects do not make up a substantial portion of their diet.
Primary predators of adult mosquitos are Dragonflies, and bats.
Primary predators of mosquito eggs and larvae are small fish and dragonfly nymphs.
