The centuries‑old tradition marks Edinburgh’s formal welcome to its Monarch. The Lord Provost presents the Keys of the City to His Majesty, who then returns them for safekeeping.
Today, The Guard of Honour was provided by Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland.
