I understand the sentiment, it is quite justifiable. Based upon past left downs, which are too numerous to count, it is highly probably based upon that record. But maybe they were always waiting for the 250th anniversary to do something big, knowing it will be in the history books for centuries to come. I think that what all the pain was about.
