Re Germany elected AM.
Essentially we have a two part election system in G. First vote goes to the candidate in your district and the 2nd vote goes to a party (CDU, SPD, AfD.. etc)
Half of the Bundestag (senat) is made up of the first vote and the other half of the 2nd vote. But wait there is more..
The 2nd vote is considered the stronger one. We have no influence on the succession of candidates on each party list.
Therefore the people rising to power are always the same.
No you know why we still have AM as Bundeskanzler.
Only a rise of another party and thus the impossibility of a coalition headed by AM topples another term for AM. Id you ask me it is a system to keep the ones in power (((they))) like.
