That's coincidental you should say that. Had a long talk with an ex-Mason this week. He said Masons original job was to fight the Rot cabal and the hold it had over the known world.
(quick backstory: Rots financed the Brits against the American colonists during the French/Indian war, the Revolutionary war and the war of 1812. Then Britain, on Rot behalf, accepted the agreement that keep them owning the colonies financially.)
Back on track: that the Masons use of symbols was specifically to COMBAT the Rot cabal and THEIR use of symbols. But The Cabal won (so far) and infiltrated them at the top, changing the organization (Pike), corrupting their symbols and turning their works against them, and demasculating them, until they are now just a money collecting organization for the cabal (though 99.99% of them do not know it, and believe they continue in the work of the founding fathers, while collecting vast amounts of money for charities.) While the charities yes, do good work, a lot of that cash collected flows out and up to the Cabal.
