Schedule Update for the National Mall events on Saturday, July 4th.

The Great American State Fair and the FIFA Fan Zone will now open at 12:00 PM (instead of 10:00 AM).

With warm temperatures expected, guests are encouraged to stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, apply sunscreen, take breaks in the shade, utilize cooling areas, and look out for family and friends.

To help guests stay cool and comfortable throughout the day, the following cooling resources will be available across the event site:

• Complimentary water distribution and water refill stations

• Cooling tents

• Air-conditioned cooling buses

All 15 large pavilion structures, located between 4th Street and 14th Street, are air-conditioned and available for guests to cool off while exploring exhibits from across America.

DALLAS FLYOVER: Four F-35s from the 301st Fighter Wing are scheduled to conduct a patriotic flyover on July 4 in honor of America’s 250th birthday.Planned times are: Fort Worth 5:57 PM, Bedford 6:07 PM, Grapevine 6:08:40 PM, Flower Mound 6:15 PM, Frisco 6:17:23 PM, Plano 6:18:56 PM (brief hold), Highland Park 6:25 PM, Dallas 6:25:41 PM, Arlington 6:28:34 PM, Keller 6:31:19 PM, and finish at Fort Worth at 6:38:14 PM. Be outside a few minutes early because flyover times can shift slightly.
