Just received in email. Campus Safety Alert:

Please be advised that on Wednesday, August 8, the Daytona Beach Police Department will conduct a training drill on the Daytona State College – Daytona Beach Campus, resulting in a greater than normal police presence. Students, faculty and staff should not be alarmed.

The exercise will consist of a “dry-run” building search in the vacant Theater Center (bldg. 220). This exercise is scheduled from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. No live ammunition will be used for these exercises. The mobile command post would be present for the training.
