Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuwarned that if the US gives Turkey F-35 fighter jets,it may upset the balance of power in the Middle East and threaten Israeli air superiority in the region during an interview with Fox and Friends on Monday.

“Turkey is a great country, but it's governed by a man who calls openly for the annihilation of Israel,” Netanyahu said in reference toTurkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “He occupies half of Cyprus, a NATO country. He's threatening Greece, another NATO country, and he talks openly about conquering Jerusalem.”

He drew attention to the presence and influence of the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group in Turkey, asserting that Ankara’s leadership is “a regime infected by the Muslim Brotherhood,” that “hates America and chants death to America.”

Netanyahu added that giving Ankara F-35s or fighter jet engines would “upset the power balance in the Middle East, which is ultimately guaranteed by Israeli air superiority and also by, I think, by America's posture in the Middle East.”

Netanyahu also cited Turkish support for Hamas and lack of action against the Islamic regime in Iran as further reasons why US President Donald Trump should not help Ankara acquire F-35s.

Trump is set to meet with Erdogan this week during the upcoming NATO summit in Ankara.

Netanyahu denies claims of strained relationship with Trump

Netanyahu also denied experiencing any substantial strain in his relationship with Trump, telling Fox that they "see eye-to-eye on just about everything” and “are the best of allies."

When asked about Trump's comments indicating some tension between the two, Netanyahu dismissed them, saying, "The president has his way of expressing things and so do I."

Netanyahu also told Fox that he has not yet set a date for his upcoming meeting with Trump, which was announced on Friday.

He said he hopes to discuss the Israel-Lebanon peace deal during the meeting to advance the implementation of the US-facilitated agreement.

Trump renews Greenland threats at NATO summit, says U.S. could remove troops from Europe 1/2

President Donald Trump on Tuesday resurrected his push for the U.S. to acquire Greenland, andsuggested the U.S. could pull all of its armed services members out of Europein response to the Continent’s continued pushback on the issue.

The island territory “should be controlled by the United States,” Trump said shortly after he arrived in Ankara, Turkey, for a NATO summit.

The 32-member alliance — which includes Denmark, of which Greenland is a part — fell into a crisis in January, as Trump demanded that the U.S. must take control of the island territory on national security grounds.

In a bilateral meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday afternoon Ankara time,Trump vented that Europe’s refusal to go along with his expansionist desire is “what hurt my relationship with NATO.”

“Because Greenland doesn’t help Denmark. Denmark doesn’t spend money to really help Greenland, but it’s an important part for the United States,” Trump told reporters.

“And it’s surrounded by China ships and Russian ships, and that’s not going to happen, the ships, is, it’s not going to happen,”he said, repeating claims about foreign military threats against the self-governing island that experts on Greenland have denied.

Greenland “should be controlled by the United States, not by Denmark,” Trump went on. “And when they wouldn’t go along with it, and with all the money we spend to help them with Russia — we don’t have to spend any money.”

Working group talks

Trump’s comments thrust Greenland, a vast, sparsely populated and largely frozen Arctic island, back into the geopolitical spotlight.

The U.S. president’s pursuit of Greenland had become a major trans-Atlantic issue at the start of the year, sparked by Trump’s repeated claims that the U.S. needed to acquire the island. Greenlandic lawmakers have insisted the island is not for sale.

Trump, who had refused to rule out the use of military force to annex Greenland, abruptly announced in late January,however, that he and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte had formed a “framework of a future deal” with respect to the territory.

A working group of representatives from the U.S., Denmark and Greenland have since been meeting to discuss the way forward.

Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen reportedly said late last month that heexpects the working group to find a solution by the end of the year.

Asked Tuesday about Trump’s latest comments on Greenland, Finnish President Alexander Stubb told CNBC’s Steve Sedgwick:“Be more Arctic, be more cool. If it is about Arctic security, we have seven countries that are Arctic nations in the alliance.”

He added: “Finland has trained 1 million soldiers in Arctic conditions; we basically live in Arctic conditions. Let’s keep that in mind. Let’s, you know, continue the process that the Danes, the Americans and the Greenlanders have.”

BELGIUM are ready to ask sport’s ultimate court to BOOT the USA out of the World Cupif they lose to a team including Folarin Balogun.

The Red Devils are furious after Donald Trump’s personal interventionsaw Fifa rip up their own rulebook to allow former Arsenal striker Balogun to feature against them in the Seattle last-16 clash despite his red card against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Belgium’s indignation went off the scale even furtherwhen a Fifa committee ruled their protest “inadmissible” because they were NOT a party to the original decision.

And Brussels FA chiefs gave the US team a blatant warning that they will be prepared to go nuclear and demand the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne kick America out of the World Cup.

Balogun was named in the starting team by USA boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Confirming its appeal against Balogun’s clearance to play had been rejected, Belgium said: “To date, the Royal Belgian FA has still not received any grounds for this decision, nor has it received the information it has been requesting since the start of this procedure.

“Fifa has yet to provide us with a copy of the decision and the motivation declaring the player eligible as well as the referee’s report – this is a breach of Fifa regulations.

“The RBFA has informed the United States Soccer Federation that it contests the eligibility of the player, should the player be listed on the referee’s team sheet. This leaves all further actions open.”

As refusing to play if Balogun is selected would lead to a forfeit, Belgium have indicated their likely actions.

CAS has the ability to hold an expedited hearing over the next 48 hours and make a final decision before the scheduled quarter-final date in Los Angeles on Friday.

Belgium will argue that the USMNT had fielded an ineligible player under Fifa’s regulations –that a player receiving a red card must have a mandatory minimum one game suspension.

The knockout stages of the World Cup are hotting up as we head towards the business end of the tournament.

England believe football might finally be coming home after 60 years of hurt, with Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham on fire.

But the likes of France, Spain and Argentina are all serious contenders to go all the way.

Heavyweights Germany, Netherlands, Brazil and Portugal have all been knocked out.

Therefore, that would mean, under Fifa rules, the result would HAVE to be reversed with Belgium awarded a 3-0 win.

The threat comes after Uefa went to war with Fifachief Gianni Infantino by branding the card sanction U-turn “unprecedented, incomprehensible and unjustifiable.”

Euro bosses were backed by Norway FA President Lisa Klaveness, who said: “Weagree with Uefa’s position that an automatic suspension of at least one match following a red card is not subject to subsequent discretionary review.

“This principle is clearly established in FIFA’s own regulations.

“There is reason for concern regarding the integrity of the competition, political interference in sporting matters, and the credibility of football.”

On June 29th a woman dressed as a man placed a package bomb at the Monaco residence of Ukrainian business tycoon Vadym Yermolaievwho refused to take sides in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Yermolaiev, a Ukrainian property tycoon, was sanctioned by Kyiv in 2023 over his alleged business activities in Russian-occupied Crimea.

Immediately after the bombing suspect was identified as Ukrainian national Anastasiia Berezovska, theZelenskyy government said she was operating as a Russian assetand had not been to Ukraine in years. Ukrainian sources suggested she was born in Kazakhstan, holds a Russian passport, and lived in occupied Crimea. {citation}

All reasonable/non-pretending peoplerecognized immediately Ukraine was the likely source of the terrorist attack, and Zelenskyy was just trying to cover his tracks. Well, Ukraine’s narrative has just collapsed as the bomber was just found in Kiev, shot four-times in the back of the head, and the suspect inher killing is an Ukraine intelligence agent.

This news breaks this morning just as Ukraine President VolodymyrZelenskyy is prancing around the NATO summitin Turkey, despite Ukraine not being a NATO member.

• CTV – KYIV, Ukraine — Ukraine’s Security Service on Tuesday said it found the body of Ukrainian national Anastasiia Berezovska, who had been wanted by authorities in Monaco in connection with the bombing targeting Ukrainian business tycoon Vadym Yermolaiev.

• The security service, also known by its local abbreviation SBU,said an officer serving in Ukraine’s military intelligence agency confessed to killing Berezovskawith the help of a former law enforcement officer. He claimedhe acted on his own initiative and without informing his superiors, the statement said.

• The attack on June 29 reportedly targeted Yermolaiev, who has links to Russia, and his family. Three people were injured, including a child. The incident shocked Monaco, a coastal playground for the rich and famous known for its tax-friendly incentives, royal family and Formula 1 Grand Prix.Its head of state, Prince Albert II, described the blast as “an odious act” and said all public services were mobilized to ensure security.

• Interpol had identified 39-year-old Berezovska as the main suspect.

• […] The SBU said investigators had focused on the two men after discovering they had repeatedly transferred cryptocurrency and money through bank accounts to Berezovska. During searches, authorities also found what the SBUdescribed as a basement resembling a torture chamber at the former law enforcement officer’s home.

Erdogan will decry terrorism, take in Syrian refugees and simultaneously kill Kurds,and provide safe harbor for the worst elements of The Muslim Brotherhood(political Islam). No one sleeps in Erdogan’s camp without one eye open and a weapon under their pillow.

The ‘West’ hates his duplicity and leverage. The Russians don’t trust him an inch. The Arabs think he’s sketchy, and the Persians tolerate him. However, Erdogan is centered in the Gateway between the Middle East and Europe; even Turkey’s geography is critical.

There is only one guy in global politics who interacts with Recep Erdoganin a way that generatesmutual respect; that guy is Donald Trump. The skillset that Trump carries is his lack of pretending, his brutal honesty in every interaction.Trump could be standing next to Erdoganat a presser, answer a question and say,“He’s a strong man, he’s probably lying, but that’s ok, I like him, it’s strong politics,you can’t be weak we will figure it out.”…. To wit Erdogan won’t flinch an inch but smile inside.

In a weird way, 99% of the viewing public will not understand the dynamicof this relationship, but it’s funny. If there was one global leader who would be disliked by NATO more than Erdogan,it’s probably Trump. The two non-pretending leaders -absolutely critical for everything-have a great deal of mutual respect for each other.
