The attribute implies that God cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18; Titus 1:2), making His promises reliable and His Scripture without error.

If we stand by the truth, then we stand with God. The rest is deceit. For in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was of God. God's Law is His Word, and His Word is Truth and a Promise to be delivered and a Deed to be done. Make no mistake, in the Book of Life are Words to be written and names to be blotted out.
